I think if his jumper translates quickly to the NBA he'll be our starting SG next season barring any other free agency moves.

Can't shoot.

And we need someone that can shoot in the starting lineup at the 2 if Lonzo's gonna be our point guard. As of right now besides Lonzo the best three point shooter in our projected starting lineup is our center...

So I get the feeling that if Hart can show NBA range early on adjusted to the game, that he'll eventually be the starting Shooting Guard.

I'm also saying this because as much as I'd like the players to go out and get one like that in free agency, if they are so locked in on this "TWO MAX" idea, then that essentially means that their contracts they'll be giving out this off-season will be a bunch of 1 year with team option deals on players that are near washed out of the league or are desperate for someone to sign them.  Players like Nick Young was to fill that gap.

Which to me means that we won't be landing anyone in the mid-tier this off-season in free agency.  So I am not surprised if we try to start next season with Clarkson as our starting 2, barring any other trades being made.

But I think Hart if he doesn't pull an Anthony Brown will be starting before long.  It may be a necessity with Lonzo at the point now.

Pick wisely. Ingram is only reported to be playing in a handful.

That tunnel vision reminds me a lot of JC, hopefully he will work on that. Looks like he really likes that spend move. If he can play good D and hit the 3s he will have his chance, no doubt. We don't have good defenders at SG. We don't have good defenders at all :(

One thing I noticed he has pretty solid & smooth jumper off of a pass. His footwork is on point. I can see Ball finding him like he did with Holiday in UCLA.

Something GT said about that

You do, however, need to teach him to pass the GD ball when literally every defender on the other team is guarding him.

I spent my entire weekend watching Josh Hart and only Josh Hart. It isn't just one play. No, he doesn't dominate the ball, but he's not very good at reading the defense when he does.

He's 22 years old, I sure would hope he ranks well on his NCAA percentiles.

Being a ball stopper and having tunnel vision are two different things. He isn't a ball stopper, try-to-break-you-down-1-on-1 type. There weren't a lot of actions where he was supposed to swing it, but he didn't strike me as being a problem in that respect either.

Jabari Brown?

I find it curious that analysts and fans expect these rookies to have a high basketball IQ when AAU and one and done doesn't promote fundamentals.

Mike Conley came in as a fast guard2who didn't always see the floor well. Now he is the quintessential point guard.

Forget the flaws and focus on the tangible measurements as well as what type of kid it is.
