Who thinks that Brook doesn't know he's playing for a $100 to $150 million dollar contract this year? He's either going to have his best season ever or show off the first half of the season and come down with an injury but will have the ability to say "Look what I was about to do"

Brook certainly knows what he's playing for.  Any competent player, especially of his caliber, as well as any professional sports agency under which Lopez is currently apart of is likely under his throat this season informing him to stay healthy, ball out, and cash in big next summer.

I really hope he stays healthy because he's likely our best player on the roster at the moment and may still be our best player at the end of the season.

Maybe Lopez and Randle can be a new version of Odom and Pau.

Oh my...no.  Not even close.  I understand what you're saying but that way too much to ask for.

Is there any workout footage of Brook this summer?

None. The hype isn't strong with this one.

Brook is a known quantity.  True professional.  He's not enamored with Twitter Followers so he doesn't have a reason to self-promote.

So far he has had maybe 5 or 6 good games. Wonder if clippers would want him plus a late pick for deandre if they want to go tank mode.

I'd even take his brother over him. Not the offensive game overall, but at least far more consistently better in other areas such as defense and rebounding, and seemingly more mobile too (less sluggish).

When he isn't making 3s, he sucks.

Doesn’t that take us out even further from our 2 max free agent dream ?

When he’s not allowed to shoot a wide open 3, he is painful to watch.

Lopez has been solid overall, but he's been very consistent. He either brings it and drops 20 effective points or he doesn't bring it and scores 4 points. Really frustrating.

His defensive laziness is frustrating.
Last night Randolph 10/16 22 pts, Cauley-Stein 10/14 26 pts
Randle put the effort but he was murdered too. The other team bigs having fun against the Lakers all season long.

It's getting to the point where I'm thinking that we can't continue to start Lopez.

Randle is going to get killed defensively against some of the 5s we will face. So the only other option is Bogut (iffy health) and Zubac. We may have no choice but to just throw Zu to the wolves.

Great.

Deng and Lopez on some exotic trip somewhere together.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Well Deandre would then be one of the 2 max players. Then try to fit in PG. Haven't checked the numbers on that yet though. The only problem is Deandre ha a player option next season so he could technically walk but then we are still in the same place we are now.

The Clippers have Deandre and another max contract with Griffin. They're doing just great.
