Say what you will but at least Lopez is a big who has adapted to the league. Never gonna be able to defend the perimeter, or else he'd be freakin elite, but he's pretty solid otherwise.

Expect him to have a career year. Hometown kid coming back to play out the last year of his contract in an offense that will absolutely reward a stretch 5.

Probably never going to be a starter on a true contender and it sucks that this is how we got him but it should be fun to watch him work this season.

Welcome!

I'd be leery of reading into this list.

Only plays WC centers 2x max. And only 3 EC centers on list

But its hard not to argue he's our best center since shaq.

Better than Bynum.

Pau i dont count as a C

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Well, you are right. Total number of games in that list is only 20-25 games. But there are only 10 teams there too. I didn't include the following ones because they were more games and took more time to calculate.

vs. Andre Drummond: 24.7ppg 9rpg 2.3apg on 46.8 fg% 37.5 3p% (3gm)

vs. Al Horford: 17ppg 5rpg 2.6apg on 38.3 fg% 26.3 3p% (4gm)

vs. Porzingis: 20ppg 5.5rpg 1.5bpg on 50.9 fg% 40 3p% (4gm)

No need to post all the teams. In the end his season average is known. He is solid on offense. Rebound is the only weakness (which can be covered by Randle if he is still here)

@LakeShow1o1

Are those even averages. Smh.

I feel happy for Brook.

He was the face of the nets. Now he gets a new chance in LA and also a chance to redeem his career

He doesn't need to redeem his career.  He's always proven to be one of the top offensive big men in the league.

In order to get a nice paycheck once his current contract expires, he just has to prove that he can stay healthy, that's always been the question mark.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he places up career numbers offensively.  He's in the perfect system to produce and we all know guys ball out on contract years.

Aww, now he won't reply getok.gif

Somebodies team won 27 games with them as the leading scorer and best player, the other won 20.

A contract we won't pay him because we'll be too focused on "two max players"

Funny thing is assuming we stood pat, and waited till the off-season to stretch Mozgov we'd have only had a 5.6m cap hold left in his wake, thus we'd have the space to max Paul George if he wanted it, and if we'd missed out on him(cause there WILL be competition), because the market is what it is, we could have likely gotten Brook Lopez for less than his current contract is for and for a couple of seasons.. :P

But as it stands, he's a one year rental.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

As someone who wasn't happy about the trade, this is the best center we've had in quite some time.

Hope he can stay healthy for us.
