Nance is weird because he has some value to the team and fans but very little to other teams.  I'd like to lock him up to a cheap long term deal because you can never have enough guys like him around but if we decided to trade him he'd be a filler or at best could land us a future second round pick.  He's just kinda there and I don't mean that in a bad way it's just the reality of the situation.  Type of player we all want on the roster but one day we wake up and he's not and it's whatever.

And that's fine but at some point 1 of the 3 has to go.  If Nance is pedestrian on offense for a 3rd year and the others show more aggressiveness on offense while having more talent there he will be the odd man out.

I like Nance but at some point you have to actually start to impact games.  Same goes for Randle.

He's not Tarik or Thomas Robinson.

If Lonzo is the Magic of this team. Nance is Rambis

Love Nance, but I'm more excited about what Kuzma could bring to the table on offense. Could be just what we're looking for at that position.

Could be but if thats the case if none of them check out as quality starters at some point they need to reevaluate some things.

Deng better than Nance for now.

And a lot

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Not worried about individual skillsets this year.  If the offensive system gets going and the culture changes, we will see a lot of players easily find a way to look really good by making simple basketball plays.

Lots of basic basketball plays made at the right time.  That should be the goal this year.  The rest will take care of itself with time and chemistry and acquisition of more talent.

Agreed. There's something special about the way he moves, athletic and fluid. Good passing too. Somewhat weak on D. Definetely interesting tonight.

Over Thomas Bryant?

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Kyle Kuzma could theoretically replace Randle. But I think while he has a similar skill set he is overall less talented.

If Randle was in this game we would have won.

Yeah. Thomas Bryant had the better game than Kuzma, but I'm just a fan of players who do a bit of everything. I thought it was exciting that this "random" pick may have a decent amount of upside.

And I'm not 6'9", but at 6'1" when I play pickup I kind of see myself as a 3/4 combo like he is so I relate a bit lol.

lol I can relate, when I played organized basketball growing up whenever my dad so happened to be coaching, despite me being the skinniest and shortest kid on the team he played me at power forward.   Because I told him I wanted to be a point guard, so he played me at forward so I could develop a post game. :D

I didn't even notice Kuzma scored 31 points, 5-10 from 3.

Not only that, but he played amazing defense as well.
