Who here would trade Luol Deng and Kyle Kuzma in a salary dump scenario?

Of course

I enjoyed us going after a couple of old guys. More college footage to watch and NBA bodies. All this while still having some upside and you don't have to pay them much

Anyone want to look into whether its more common throughout the league for older stars to vastly underperform their huge contracts vs younger guys to vastly overperform on theirs?

Butts in seats v Build for future hard data i mean

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Probably a merchandise deal, he gets an annual amount of cash to spend on Nike stuff, not bad for a 27th draft pick, being in LA and also winning the Summer League Final MVP definitely helped.

Dude went 22 and 6 on 51%   Even in Summer League that's impressive. I was waiting on dude to start missing terribly from 3. It never happened. He was my pick for SL MVP

Kuzma played amazing, but THREE trip dubs in what 5 games? There was one clear choice.

Laker Film Room: Kyle Kuzma Summer League Breakdown: Defense

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Dude he was a rookie 6 years ago :D But he did not have the smoothness of Kuzma when he was a rookie, it's not even close in terms of shooting ryhthm. Bazemore has shown glimpses with GSW, really found a role that he can play when he played for us and Hawks is the beneficiary! But to me Kuzma has a higher ceiling.

Bazemore was terrible last season and a worst contract than Deng
