Seems like no matter who you are or how close you grew up to LA, playing for the Lakers is always an adjustment.  Lonzo's finally hit his groove.  As long as he's healthy, I bet on Ball.

To be fair, Lonzo was playing pretty bad at the beginning of the season.  I'm not trying to defend their comments but if you didn't think highly of Ball coming into the season, his early play would not have instilled confidence.

I'm not one of those guys...I don't put a lot of stock in the first few months of any rookie.

Really early on he struggled offensively but he was playing very well defensively

I’ll say he turned it around sooner than Ingram did. Before he got hurt he was playing very good basketball. Now he looks like the guy we wanted when we drafted him.

Future bodes well for lonzo, seems like he’s trending upward

His shot is still ugly as all heck, but they are going in. He was legitimately clutch tonight.

It was always ugly and will always be ugly but it always went in and they're going in.

People don't understand how different things would have been last year if we had a different PG.  Even when Clarkson started at PG, our team looked faster and more like what Luke wanted...not saying CLarkson was a great starter but the difference was clear (to me).  Ingram would have likely been better off starting at PG last year and let Russell play off the ball.

Lonzo is playing better faster than Ingram because Lonzo's in the perfect situation for his skillset and strengths.  Ingram wasn't, last year...

Another thing I liked from Zo @ SA is that he was more aggressive getting to the basket in a bunch of plays. Some of them didn't go well but he seems to be getting more and more comfortable out there every game

he plays to win. Ingram was out so naturally, he stepped up his offense.

Ball average 10, 7, 7 while struggling shooting. Now hes in his groove. We need those Post All Star Game statistic at the end.

Love his hustle and defense might be more gambling than anything but he's pretty smart about the chances he takes

Man, i'm glad I was so wrong about Lonzo's injury.

Next year Lonzo is going to be unstoppable IMO.   The Lakers need to surround him with a couple of more shooters.   At this point watching this team I think they should pass on Lebron and possible PG13.  I like and Anthony Davis/Leonard combo better.

I mean they shouldn’t pass on them but if the lakers were presented with a choice of having Davis/Leonard or lebron/george

I’m about 90% sure they take the former

What team has ever been presented with these types of options?

We couldn't even get a sit down with KD, Howard left us, Aldridge passed on us, Melo passed on us, and Bron passed on us. We haven't made the playoffs in years!

Our biggest signings have been overpaying role players such as Moz, Deng, and KCP.

We are in no position to pass on one of the best two way players in the nba (PG13) and the best basketball player in the world (Lebron). We would be lucky if they even entertained coming here.

When someone says we should "pass" on someone, I take it to mean that we should not sign them regardless of their willingness to sign here. If we passed on PG13 and Bron in order to save cap space in hopes of aquiring other players in the future, the Lakers organization would be the laughing stock of the sports world for an entire season! On top of that, 99% of the fan base would be pissed. If we passed on them and failed to sign stars the next season, Magic would likely lose his job.

This is NOT an option, nor is it logical in any way!

KD went to 73 win team
Bron chose home
Melo chose money
Aldridge was going to be tradebait
