Lonzo will be elite at 3 things. Controlling the pace, playmaking/court vision and I’m leaning towards putting defense up there.

Sounds like Jason Kidd.

I think we'd like all the young guys a lot more if we had that 1 or 2 big dogs to lighten the load on the others.

Part of me is glad they're getting minutes early in their careers and playing against some top talent, but this losing is tough.

Still, more reason to be hopeful than past seasons.

Ball is the real deal.

I think he may have aspergers though

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Lonzito has been playing great lately. That Rookie Slump might have been at the beginning of the season. Now we just need Kuzma to work on his D and get an accurate shooting Vet

I seriously don't understand what the teams from 4-8th were thinking about when they passed DSJ up in the draft?

Fultz, ok...I wasn't a fan but OK.

Lonzo, mos def.

Tatum, yep.

But there is not another player out there between 4 and 8 that was or is better than DSJ.

To be perfectly honest, if we weren't picking Lonzo, Dennis Smith Jr is the player I thought should have been our pick.  I know Majesty claimed he "couldn't get by BIGs" in college but of course, that wasn't accurate.

Lonzo playing well is all mental.  Same with his slumps.  He's got the tools, just has to put his stamp on the game.  I predict it will get a lot easier in Year 2...

DSJ looked good.

But guy i like best of rookie class so far is DM on Utah.

Super skilled and will be their go to guy as soon as next season.

Maybe later this season.

Maybe already is.

Looks like a 4 year vet most of the time

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but this recent 4 game streak against [expletive]ty teams might actually be our worst stretch (if you exclude games like OKC where we threw the towel). We did not look good by any means and the opponent being worse than us made this 4 game stretch painful for me. It was the ugliest NBA basketball i had to consume. People got bashed for saying this but we actually played competitive basketball for most of our losing streak and it was fun to watch. Last 4 games were like very bad meals ending with favorite desserts :D

And i think Ball is the reason we are winning despite playing maybe our worst ball. Yes Ingram got into semi-beast mode and Randle played well all around as a starter but without Ball, they'd have no chance. Although he does not always show, his overall impact on this team is beyond measure. If it was not for Lonzo, this would be an 10+ games losing streak.

He’s good. Mitchell has been great. Buuut he reminds me a lot of Lillard and while I recognize lillard is really good I’m not the biggest fan of his if that makes sense

As previously stated, a great quality Lonzo has that very few posses is he doesn't need a great offensive game to make everyone around him better.

That’s kind of what I mean. Guys like Westbrook and lebron don’t need to score to make their teams better

Guys like kobe, Durant and curry even when not scoring are such threats at what they do you can never back off

But you have guys like lillard, derozan, Carmelo who when they don’t score they kinda are non factors

But I do think Mitchell is really good and I think he’ll be one of the better scoring guards in basketball. But I’ve never been the biggest fan of small scoring guards. I think there’s a limit to their overall impact/ affectiveness

Highly unlikely it’s anything too serious. If it was he would’ve felt it when it happened. Could just be a slight tweak, or some tendinitis
