lol there are a bunch of players that were superstars their first year.

Im 100% sure PG is coming here now. He wouldn't have said something so insane if he wasn't.

OKC better look to trade him and get something in return NOW!!!!

haha

Will the shoulder injury effect his shot.

He may have to reduce his motion, which will be good for him (kind of like Lebron's elbow).

Lonzo has really turned his demeanor around. He’s so much more confident on the floor right now. Really looks to be playing much slower and much more decisively. He’s turning it around much quicker than it seemed initially. I think there’s a chance he has a nice finish to the season and gives us all something to be pumped up about going forward

Agree. He's also hitting 3s at close to 40% and shooting 43% overall from the field (december and january).

Most of the bad impression of him comes off of his early struggles. Otherwise, for a good stretch after that he's been performing quite well.

Until 11/15 against Sixers (First 15 games): 30 FG% 23 3P%

After 11/15 against Sixers:

11.1 ppg 7.2 rpg 7.1 apg 1.4 spg 1 bpg 2.9 topg on 40 FG% 36 3P%

I agree. He’s having a better season than any rookie we’ve drafted not named kuzma. I think his start was actually nice because it kinda had people back off him a bit. Now he’s just playing ball and he’s playing good ball at that

Dont forget that Lonzo has a case as one of the best defenders at his position.

4th in defensive RPM for his position.

9th in steals among pgs.

3rd in rebounds and blocks among all guards.

Rookies shouldn't start until the game slows down for them.  This is the reason why.  Good player who will get better.  Just needs to make it through this year and hope to land a legit scoring star in the offseason.

Lonzo will be ok...

We'd have to start either Clarkson or Ennis which isn't much better.

3p% up over 30. FG is now over 35%. Im fine with the 3p% but just need to get the fg% up over 40 and I think that will be a strong indication that his shot is getting there.

His shot needs to be changed. These percentages are mostly happening while he is wide open.

Eventually he will be guarded tightly on the peremiter and we will see the percentages drop drastically again.

Nobody is going to leave a guy wide open that is shooting 35% from the 3. This summer, he needs to change his form.
