We're going to regret this for a long time. I truly thought that DLo will be an all star one day.

The only thing that could make this OK is if we get PG and another top 10-15 player. I seriously doubt that happens.

We better end up with Butler and George or this is straight bs!

This move really just means lakers arent doing anything with PG. They are just going to wait for PG and Lebron to come here in FA which is the biggest risk I have ever seen. You can't just trust someone will still want to come here a year from now.

Guys relax this isn't the worst deal ever...the Cousins one was worse lol

Yea i think there is a plan. Maybe Lopez goes to Indy. I hope there are other moves.

What do you mean? Haven't you seen all the homeruns we have hit with FA's in the last 5 years? This strategy always pays off for us.

I really hope this isn't a move simply to go after Hayward.

Why would Pacers want Lopez over Russell though?

I was so excited for this new management.

I don't even know what to say right now. Lakers are going to regret this BIG TIME.

Last year the Lakers moved on from going for home run free agent signings. This year they moved on from moving on from free agent home runs

Exactly...we patiently waited for Mozgov who is a borderline superstar, and we were able to sign him for a bargain.

Oh yeah .. and then our main guy next year then HAS to be Lonzo in terms of leading this entire team without the backup of Russell and the depth we were building.

Our team isn't even gonna win 30 games next season and is gonna be in the SAME SITUATION THAT GEORGE WAS IN IN INDIANA.   There is no other move that turns this into a "win".  if we have to trade more pieces to get George he's leaving in the off-season cause we won't even be a playoff team, and then no free agent is gonna come, no Cousins, no Westbrook, no Lebron and we have to restart this [expletive] thing ALL OVER AGAIN.. WITHOUT EVEN having a pick in next years draft.

IF THIS DEAL goes forward, it's the dumbest move in franchise history bar none.

What part of winning basketball do they not understand? DO THEY NOT KNOW THAT NO [expletive]ING FREE AGENT WILL COME HERE TO PLAY LOSING BASKETBALL? We have no winning culture established here. What free agent in their right mind would come here?

When I saw the notification, I thought it was for Paul George. For Brook Lopez and the 27th pick? Wtf.

Mitch understood that, Jim understood that.  Jeanie still thinks it isn't true.  And apparently so does Magic.

Dude he was our highest scorer, lead the team in assists and steals and dropped 40 on the defending Champ cavaliers.

You would have just traded your BEST player on the 2nd year of his rookie deal for Brook Lopez's expiring contract and ONE pick further up in the draft.

It would be the dumbest move of all time.

Every team has a best player. The Lakers are a sorry ass team. The move is fine.
