We could have kept everyone and gotten PG. I just dont get it. I think Magic is trying to make a play for Lebron next season but you didnt have to make this move now. Its just plain dumb,.

Yup.  Don't like the trade but hate it even more that we did it right now.

I don't see how this gets us closer to a deal with the Pacers

Keep in mind if the Lakers did this, to someone that Paul George's agent represented, it wouldn't make George any more confident about coming here, so keep that in mind. If they just unloaded the guy who was their best player last year for Brook Lopez and one pick up from 28th? it makes no sense whatsoever.

Worst trade in recent memory, for any franchise. This isn't a joke. Wow. Barring some sort of flurry of trades to bring in established players this is the dumbest move this franchise has made in decades.

Dlo wasnt good as a featured part of the offense, he is a mediocre player at best. It's a fine trade both short and long term. Lakers are going to get Paul George and they clearly aren't stopping there is what this trade signals. I'm fine with it. Dlo is not a part of a championship or even contending roster, his game is ultra weak in too many areas.

This is all about cap space. Magic and Pelinka better have a damn guarantee that FAs are coming here or we just got set back another 5-7 years.

Dude he was our highest scorer, lead the team in assists and steals and dropped 40 on the defending Champ cavaliers.

You would have just traded your BEST player on the 2nd year of his rookie deal for Brook Lopez's expiring contract and ONE pick further up in the draft.

It would be the dumbest move of all time.

Overrated part of basketball. The whole agent thing. I don't agree with this move at all. But I don't buy this hinders George at all

Yea that trade is awful. A late first and an expiring contract for Russell.

I have to take a nap to get ready for night shift, not sure I'm gonna be able to now. Unless we see a few more trades who the hell would sign off on this? IDC what you think of Russell, but he was making peanuts and we got Brook Lopez with a LATE 1st. The nets got robbed by the Celtics, and they just robbed us.

keep in mind, George's made clear that he and his agent want him and D'Angelo to play together.
