How many of these types of threads do we need?
A majority of fans here have voiced there opinions upon this topic already, just skim through the "2017 NBA Lottery / Draft" Thread.

Say Tatum, I visited their site to see what's up. That came up from fan base but if Fultz is available at two should we take him? Glad when 22nd gets here.
You take whomever impressed us most between Ball, Fultz and Jackson.

That doesn't make sense. If you're gonna do the whole "who impressed us most" thing then why is it only between 3 specific players? Are you suggesting that even if during workouts Monk or some other top prospect looks far better than everyone else, we should still pick out of those 3? There isn't really even a consensus top 3.You take whomever impressed us most between Ball, Fultz and Jackson.
In any case, a team should pick the player that they feel will be the best going forward. That is NOT limited to three players, that goes for everyone in the entire draft.

As of right now, the answer to this question is Fultz 100%. This could change during workouts but the simple answer is to pick Fultz because as of right now he is the best prospect.
it makes all the sense. Pick who impressed you most and looked like the best player of those three at the workouts.
Between Fultz, Ball and Jackson who looked like the best among the 3. That's who you go with if Boston takes Tatum. Makes perfect sense, as those are essentially the 3 best top of their class talents and we should be looking at them as such.
Not hard to understand why it'd be those 3 to choose from.

Well those aren't even my top 3 nor are they the consensus top 3. I've seen mocks with Jackson going 5th.it makes all the sense. Pick who impressed you most and looked like the best player of those three at the workouts.

As of right now, you take Fultz. Plain and simple.
You are saying to wait for workouts which essentially is giving Ball/Jackson a chance to overtake Fultz as the consensus #1 but nobody else in the draft could possibly do the same? I don't see how you can come to that conclusion.
Fox has a better chance of being drafted before Jackson than Jackson has of being drafted before Fultz imo

No matter what the pick is, it will come down to who impresses the Lakers the most.Doesn't matter what your top 3 are. It only matters for the Lakers. And if it comes down to who impresses them the most in both the interview and workout, they may go with that player
My question was, why is that limited to those three guys? The likelihood of Jackson being picked over both Ball and Fultz is extremely low, so if he's included in this then I see no reason not to include another 4-5 prospects.
What's more likely Fox/Monk/Tatum drafted before Jackson or Jackson drafted before both Ball and Fultz?
When's the last time the consensus top 2 were passed on twice?
