Kind of disappointed after watching highlights and seeing context of the game   That and the fact they lost by decent amount and fouled that much to keep the game going really dampers it now. Still an amazing scoring feat but a bit tarnished by the way it was done.

Another thing people not talking about when it comes to Booker scoring 70 is that he had a decent amount of assist and the kid shot over 50 percent. Not too many players can score than and also shoot good from the field.

Yeah he really should've ended with 50-60 in a losing effort. His teammates knew what they were doing. They wanted to be apart of some sort of history.

I don't even think I saw a single play where he was doubled anyways. Doesn't even come close to 81.

Doesn't even come close to Kobe's 62 against Dallas in 3 quarters.

BBIQ - if it was Russell in the same circumstances, you'd be all over this.  Gimme a break.

This is impressive as hell.

I agree with that honestly, I was pissed that Kobe didn't come back in the fourth to see what he could've done after that 62 point explosion. Obviously after the game there might be some chatter of how the player went about it and the means used to get the record but history will only remember what was done. History will deff remember this 70 point bomb

I feel like Klay could go for 100+ in a similar circumstance - his team fouls at the end and he plays all but a few minutes.

51 in a half is pretty good. Booker looks like Klay 2.0.

Good god, legendary?

If it's not someone you're all over there's no talking about it with you.

For a young player such as Booker to do this, it's something that will talked about for decades to come.

Dude was sitting on 31 with 4 minutes left in 3rd.

70 for a 20 year old is pretty unreal.

Kobe is kobe but was already the best player in the league when he went off.

For booker to do something like this so soon in the league is the best single game story of the year easily.

And Harden has had 7 40 point triple doubles this season

Praying for  1. Youngsters Ballin (Didn't really happen on a consistent basis at all) 2. Miracle Trade (Also didn't happen. And we traded our best player for chump change) 3. Kick Ass Rooks (Zubac exceeded, Ingram tried but disappointed overall)

READY FOR SEASON TO BE OVER!!!

😂😂😂 Russell with a 70 point game. The longest game in basketball history, considering he plays in slow motion, 8 OT at least needed 😂😂😂

Had a chance for 73 but missed a rather wide open 3 at end too.

My favorite part was some of the boston fans i saw leave early as celtics had a big lead and game in bag.

Memo to fans: If a player on court has 50+ and is still playing with time on the clock...stick around

No way. Laron Profit came in for him that came in the 4th, and he tore his achilles that game.

Westbrook

Harden

My post said best single game story.

Stand by it.

The story of season for sure is russ and Harden.

But may end up be GS winning title w/o durant if he doesn't return for playoffs and they still prevail

Umm...maybe not so easily.

Westbrook with 57/13/11---holy crap

And game tying 3 then goes off and clinches it in OT.

Game of the year goes to RW now i think

(okc down double digits w 6 minutes left too)
