My 25 win prediction was being far too optimistic.

So was my 90-135 prediction haha

Inb4 FO shuts down Russell for the season.

Too much exposure.

Man Russell had more turnovers (7) and fouls (6) than points (5).

Building through the draft takes time though. Kid's still only 21.

And then it will be "He is only 22" and so on and so on.

Deal him this summer before his trade value completely bombs. The kid has a crappy attitude and is far too lazy.

Thanks Busty. Problem is there are far too many fans who are scared to be honest when the team they support is simply terrible and going nowhere fast. The quicker you recognize fault, the quicker you can act to correct it.

Trade a player talk only works if there is a logical move to make. If he's as bad as you think, you aren't getting anything noteworthy in return! Therefore banking on his potential would be the better than getting a career scrub in return.

He has a perceived value around the league. What you have in your favor is the youth excuse. Some team will buy into it if you pitch it correctly.

If you keep waitin he youth angle flies away. This summer is the time to part ways.

So, we should play him and continue to suck more is what you are saying? 28 minutes a night is kinda a lot.

It not an excuse. Experience increases a person's ability to perform in every line of work. It's not only basketball.

Are we just going to ignore all his really good games?

We are going to suck either way. We have been much worse with Clarkson starting imo.

What are you expecting to get back for Russell? Any star that we trade Russell for in a package will most likely be an expiring contract to where it won't be worth the gamble.

I'd rather gamble on Russell improving than whatever risk of a trade we can engage in.

His really good games are fool's gold. What he scores on the offensive end he gives right back on the defensive end. You can't take the outliers and create a game around that. You are what you consistently do. He is a terrible defender, hasn't developed in that end at all, lacks point guard skills to compete in the NBA and is inconsistent beyond belief.

So essentially you do ignore the good games, since they're not his normal standard of play.

I'm mystified at why people are so in love with this kid who has been pedestrian at best. It's ok to not like every player that puts on the clothes you root for.

Brewer should never touch the ball while in transition...or at any other point in the game.

Bro we need some hyperbolic time chamber if we want to improve Russell.

You don't know what deals are out there, and neither do I. Of course if they're terrible you move somewhere else. But to shut out the possibility of dealing Russell for no good reason is ludicrous.

Right. Ow his kid ain't the kind of player you build a winner around - not at all.

MDA had a better record and so did Scott; Luke is trash.

The whole team has given up this season. I mean the coaches and FO have basically made it clear to them they are tanking, why should they play hard. Complete waste of a season that should have had 35 wins at least all so we have a 56% chance at getting another young prospect who won't fix this team anytime soon.
