You don't know what deals are out there, and neither do I. Of course if they're terrible you move somewhere else. But to shut out the possibility of dealing Russell for no good reason is ludicrous.
Right. Ow his kid ain't the kind of player you build a winner around - not at all.

Well he's 21, likely has low trade value, and is currently our best player. There are a bunch of other guys that should be traded before we even entertain a Russell trade.

Bro we need some hyperbolic time chamber if we want to improve Russell.

That goes for practically all of our young players. Like I said, building through the draft takes time.

The league belongs to pretty much 2-3 teams right now, and there's nothing we can assemble soon enough to compete with them. We have cap-friendly contracts right now in our youth, and it's worth more the gamble of trusting their potential.

Assist to turnover ratio is terrible. Steals are average to below average. He can't keep up with any guard on any team. He has occasional vision for a pass but mostly misses the mark.

I need to know what some think Russell is so excellent at that he deserves all these chances with little to no criticism. It's becoming a Jeremy Lin type religious devotion to this kid who has basically done nothing.

We need to get out of this "development" cycle fast.

I left to go the gym. I have never seen such bad Laker ball like this. The Cedric Ceballos squad could bear these guys. Kwame Brown can be an all-star against this squad.

The players gave up on this season 30 games ago. The coaching and front office staff is forced to play the only card they have left now.

Anyway, I'm done arguing this.

Better stuff to do than to watch this garbage team pretending to be the Lakers.

I know some folks say trade JC... but atleast he knows what he got to do every game, Score. Russell is not consistent. If you want to say he's been the best player since the all-star break, go ahead... why wasn't it like that since the beginning of the season? All I ask is for consistency.

Why did Randle sit early? He could have easily hit 40 points.

He already showed he is better than Russell; playing Randle more would been overkill.

For a coach to have to keep repeating about adversity, players not getting back on defense, stop pointing fingers and communicating.... this team needs a makeover and it can't keep being the coaches fault

This isn't on the coaches. This is a player problem. Them playing with no heart or effort has happened wayyyyyy too many times this season.

I'd like to see you try.

Pros:

Elite Snitch
Elite at switching hairstyles
Is close to "knowing how to win"

Seriously I'm not wasting my time on this "the sky is falling" nonsense.

JC knows he has to score cus that's the only thing he can do lol.

Dude's basketball IQ is AWFUL, and he's a worse defender than D'Angelo. The team is prioritizing a soon to be 25 year old bench guard who has hit his ceiling over developing their point guard. Jordan is the same player he was 3 years ago.

This isn't normal for a team to do. No other team would bench their best player after one bad game. lmao could you imagine if Phoenix benched Booker after one bad game? It's a joke.
