They Lakers used to have Jeremy Lin; now look at them. Disgusting.

I don't know about Lakers, but I know what I'm gonna do for next season: not renew the LP.

As much as everyone trashed Coach Miller on his antics; I was one of the handful that actually appreciated his basketball prowess.

Nwaba was Ryan West's choice from the get go.

Definitely. The Lakers will need to make a decision quickly about his extension.

I don't know the point of having League Pass.  It's a 3 team league and every other team/game is fairly pointless and boring to watch.  For all their effort to quiet down LA and the other big markets, the NBA has done nothing more than create a lop-sided league the other way now.

P.S. - Jeremy Lin was the Lakers answer to passing on Isiah Thomas for no good reason.  Genius management there.

Screw league pass.

Check out www.hdsports.ca

3 months cost about $20 or so dollar and you can watch any game online, mobile, or Kodi.

Umm the 27th pick? Nance? No one would've predicted IT would be this good.

But for the money he would've cost and the needs of the team Thomas was more than worth the gamble.  I recall at the time Thomas saying he would play for the Lakers for any amount of money - he desperately wanted tobe in L.A..  The Lakers had no PG at all, and with guards running faster and smaller, it made perfect (and simple) sense.  There is no excuse for missing on Thomas - none.  For being in the game as long as Mitch has been his talent evaluation should've been better.  Funny how Boston picked him up with no hesitancy at all.

The Lakers needed a PG, and they decided to go with a tired slower Lin that had no place on the team and whose most effective days were both a fluke and long behind him.

Yes, nobody predicted he would be this good.  However, the Lakers should've known that he would've been better than a busted Lin.  The Lakers were desperate to put people oin the seats and they thought Lin would do just that.  It worked for a bit until some fans came to their senses.

Nah. I'm down with paying to watch. There are highlights everywhere now. Surely this team isn't a must-watch-live?

Yep, Lowry was easily had by the Lakers, but they flubbed that as well.

You're asking for a link to a story from 4 years ago?  That's gonna take some digging.  Listen to sports radio and Ramona Shelburne, she talks about this stuff often.  The Lakers passed on Lowry.

Btw Isaiah Thomas averaged 20.3ppg 6.3apg on 45.3 / 34.9 before that year he became FA.

So I don't get the "No one would have predicted IT would be this good argument"

He was 24.

More like Lowry probably passed on the Lakers. It wouldnt make sense for Lowry to leave an upcoming team to Join an injured player in Kobe plus bunch of nobodies.

What are you talking about? We were going to get Lowry via trade. Long before Kobe's Achilles injury.
