The main problem with "tanking" is the culture it creates. The lack of effort and energy game after game has become systemic really. A team with so much youth should at the very least be very active and engaged. You can make all the mistakes you want, but do them going full tilt. We rarely do so. It is alarming. Coaches have been changed but the lackadaisical displays continue to be the norm season after season. This season we should have ended up with at least 30 wins. That isn't asking for much but could clearly show that progress has been made. We may not even end up with 25. The Lakers are clearly behind schedule on the rebuilding spectrum.

Stu Lantz with a subtle jab at Luke's coaching.

Ennis is already showing Russell how to be a competent player in the League; let alone the point guard position.

You kinda have to wonder if Jesse Mermuys is the one guy from that Vine where he is being ridiculed by his height. You can only imagine how insecure he may be from that.

It ain't Luke.  The  Lakers have cycled through three coaches now in this terrible run.  At some point everyone has to be honest with themselves and realize the problem isn't the guy in the suit by the bench.  The problem is the players, and the way the team was built.

Even DaVinci couldn't paint the Mona Lisa with a box of broken crayons.

I wish more people saw this a while ago, instead of railing on those of us who were up front about the serious lack of talent on this team.  Again, the decisions to come aren't tough at all.  Everyone is on the block if the right deals come along.  The key is going to be convincing a team to take on Deng, Mozgov or somehow finding a way to jettison both.

This is why the Lakers traded for Brewer.

They don't make a good team, fido, and probably never will. That has always been the problem.

Ennis is proving the Lakers he deserves another 10-day contract.

Mavs got Nerlens Noel for 2 second rounders. Go figure what we are doing with our assets.

I said that two seasons ago Tensai and got nothing but grief about it from the blind lemming fans that couldn't bear to be objective about the team.

The Lakers had one asset that was trade-able, Williams, and they got the best offer out there (according to Ramona Shelburne).  There were no takers for Nick supposedly, and the Lakers can get better deals for the young guys in the off-season.  The late picks have all been dealt a while ago in other terrible deals Mitch and Jim saddled the team with.

Cook showing the Lakers that they should've drafted him. Starter quality.
