So Ramona's most recent tweet states this:

Sacks didn't comment on why Jeanie's name wasn't on the list submitted. Which, as noted, the controlling owner must also be a director.

Apparently, this is Jeanie being proactive and legally outmaneuvering Jim...

How long ago did I warn y'all of all of this?

Where is Calisupr and all of his "sources"?  He claims Jeanie is a saint!

LOL...

Is it official? If not then this maybe the reason it hasn't been announced as the GM

He's been dissolving his business and has already told players he is going to be the GM. Its about as official as you can get without contract being signed.

I'm wondering if Jeannie blindsided the board of directors with her power move.

I think Adam Silver needs to sit down with the Busses. This [expletive] is embarrassing.

I'm not a fan of Jeanie but honestly what do you expect Jim and Johnny's lawyer to say?

This. And only this. I can't believe Jeanie is being the one painted as the problem here. Oh wait... It is LN. Yes I can. Some of the comments regarding "this must be her emotional breakup showing up" are borderline sexist and embarrassing, even for this group.

Also the skepticism has gone full blown paranoia regarding anyone who possibly doesn't agree with the hivemindset that Jeanie is an emotional disaster of an individual. The famed "Ding Hit Piece" term that is thrown around is proof.

And lastly.. the gross ignorance here is laughable. Jeanie and all of her siblings with the exception of Jim & Johnny agreed to make the changes and to support Jeanie. I highly suggest knowing what you are talking about before posting, otherwise you come across as a joke.

No.. what's laughable is how Jeanie has handled the brand.. Howard debacle is a key factor.. foolishly talking on open air about things that should be in house. Gross ignorance is acting like we are foolishly ganging up on Jeanie with zero merit. Again, playing telephone with the mail carrier doesn't make you an insider.

Silver lining is maybe it was best this happened during the season.  I hated the way Jeanie handled this but maybe it's a good thing to get it out of the way while basketball is still being played instead of this taking all summer and spilling over into next season.  Apparently there's a trial date set for May 15th that will hopefully decide this once and for all.

Btw, I hope we can put to rest the notion that Jim and Johnny were just trying to hold an annual board meeting with no ulterior motive.  I found it laughable that some people were taking Jim's lawyer at his word last night.  This was not Jeanie being paranoid this was clearly a failed power play by Jim.  Frankly, on a human level I'm not sure I blame him but let's call it what it was.  Maybe it's not right what happened.  We all know how much perception could have changed if it wasn't for an unfortunate series of events that started with the Chris Paul veto but by all accounts Jeanie has always had the power to do this and now it's done.  The NBA has her back and the courts are likely to rule in her favor.  It's not optimal but I'll take this outcome if it finally resolves this feud and we can move forward as a franchise.
