He's handsome. Much more lively than Kupchak.

I like to dip my feet in toilet water & smell them.

Once is divested of handling their careers it's open season, he can benefit from contacts with players and GMs

Good break down from Lakers Film Room, and essentially confirms what I had already thought AND hoped for:

That was the optimistic scenario just fyi

And today's very very true negative is the culture, interesting choice, he's seen it from the other side and has good relationships with players. Congrats to a new career.

Damn though, wonder how much of a pay cut...wouldn't the laker job pay him 10 mill a year or so.

I mean he's an agent and a good one so i'm guessing he negotiated a pretty sweet deal

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Oh man, this organization is just all over the place. It's obvious they had this deal in place already which causes the question: Why wait and waste time with thad advisor BS when the plan was already in place, why they weren't fired a month ago, not two days before the deadline.

People don't realize that Jeanie is also a problem. This was handled very poorly. Also no mention od Mitch and Black in the Spectrum interview. Could've at least thanked them that they spend half od their lives with Lakers. Just not the level of class Lakers should be showing and to which we fans were accustomed to with dr. Jerry Buss.

All being said, I hope Pelinka and Ryan West do a great job. I sincerely do.

Magic and Jeannie deserve each other.

Lakers fans deserve neither of them.

To put in perspective, not sure but I think Mitch was paid somewhere between 1 and 2M a year..

If Pelinka had final say, I'd be much more happy about this hire.  He makes sense.  I just don't think it will be as easy as Pelinka doing what's best for the team.

You can take the best car in the world and enter it into a race...but it's only going to be a good as it's driver.

Pelinka is the car.

Magic is the driver.

Pelinka will be there to do what MAGIC tells him to.  I'm not sure he's going to have any sort of autonomy on the decisions that matter.
