NO QUESTION.

However, even if we did have the first pick, I'm not sure I give up a potential top 3, Randle, and Clarkson for him.

I mean going off the actual trade the 1st + both 2nds + Clarkson would probably be enough.

This is the 3rd report Ive seen on this. Drummond is 23. If you are going to rebuild he would be an amazing player to start with.

Pistons attempted a deal with Andre Drummond to the Kings for DeMarcus Cousins. Kings said no. (Via Michael Scotto - Basketball Insiders)

Highway robbery for the Pelicans.

I would part with Ingram if we were sure DeMarcus would resign or if we could offer him the designated player for 200 mil, but we can't. The Lakers would have only been able to offer as much as everyone else to my understanding(I could be wrong). In that case I can see why the Lakers wouldn't want to include Ingram, especially after the Dwight trade blew up in this same fashion a few years ago. I could easily see Boogie bolting LA for a playoff team in that situation, just like I could see him doing it in New Orleans unless they grab a low seed and really scare someone in the first round.

OMFG. This is a steal for the Pellies. Not sure how or why no-one else were able to match this.

That's the thing.  I'm 100% certain 2-3 teams offered better.  Vlade and Vivek are just a hell of a duo.

Perhaps for that reason.  That he could walk next summer.

Yep

Cousins is under contract for $18 million next year. Incentive to sign $200+ million ext was only w/ SAC. He just lost a lot of $ in new CBA

None of you be afraid he'd get here and self destruct? He's clearly got problems. He couldn't handle the media in Sacramento. I wouldn't want him around our young guys. Bad enough the clown Nick Young is still here.

I think luke would work pretty well with him. But yea its a risk. He will always be an issue with technicals.

Not that afraid at all.  The fact that he hasn't been appointed to a mental institution after dealing with such a sloppy, unorganized, and unprofessional franchise for the past 7 years deserves a trophy in itself.  Demarcus has his issues, but things Kings franchise has certainly been adding fuel to the fire for a majority of his time there.

I think Demarcus' talent is worth the gamble. His attitude can be awful but he's played in a cesspool of incompetence his entire career. The Kings have never had any structure or any backbone to rein him in.

Lol. I would've sent randle, clarkson, and whomever else outside of Russell and Ingram

But it'd be a risk. If we can't offer him more money why does he stay

This is hilarious after his recent comments about definitely signing the extension and having his jersey in the rafters in Sacramento.  He just lost so much money he is going to [expletive] all over the Kings for the rest of his life lol.

The Kings told the Lakers that without Ingram, they weren't interested. Sources said talks didn't get much farther than that

DeMarcus being told he was traded while taking post-game questions. What a surreal thing to witness.
