Its been assumed for a while that Ryan would replace Mitch once he retired. You just don't let a guy with that eye for talent go.

My thing would be a team offering him a GM position before we do. I read somewhere teams where looking at him.

I wonder if he'll rent a Uhaul and drive there with all his stuff like he did to LA.

He did mention Jim's name a few times. Interesting to see what comes out of this.

Fantastic. Our very own Trump!

Jim is basically like a Trump without the Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

He was a great player and is a great ambasssdor for the game, but i'm not sure i'd want him to be a part of the thinking process.

Hopefully he plays a bigger part and take ownership from the Buss kids.

What do you guys think of his interview?

I dont know what value he's gonna bring since his role is kinda vague. Seems to me like a baby step into getting a bigger role on the team. I dont know how I feel about it. The interview didnt add much to me.

This is great news.

You know he's not playing, right?

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

It's alright honestly if he doesn't touch what is going to grow into a great team.

If Jim and Mitch get kicked out and all the young guys we've drafted take us to the next level, history will remember who actually saved the Lakers.

Magic will bring a fresh view to team. His name alone turns heads.

How did that work for Phil?  The new generation isn't dumb.  They aren't simply trying to sign with teams b/c a legend is associated with the team.  If that was the case the Hornets would have no issues getting top free agent meetings.

Magic will bring a fresh view to team. His name alone turns heads.
