These chowder head homers are slighting the Lakers, They haven't won in how many years? Acting like they're still champions

For the remainder of this season that's really the whole point.  By the time the kids have matured enough to start having a real impact and helping us win games Lou and Nick will be gone.  Why not get something for them (or at least one of them) and also increase our chances of remaining in the bottom 3?

January 1st I was still against the tank.  February 1st not so much.  Time to be honest about what kind of team we have this year.

If you see them as added value why not keep both for next season?

I dont mind keeping both but If i had to pick one, it'd be Young. We need some perimeter defense. I'd love to trade Clarkson + Nance for Smart. Celtics probably wont do it..

Beating LA is still important to all these teams.

This Laker team is tough to nearly impossible to watch, let alone actually enjoy watching them play.

The Boston guys have a right to be happy.  The Lakers and them started at the bottom at the same time and in that time span the Lakers have remained there while the Celtics are now the #2 team in the East.  If it were the Lakers they'd say the same stuff.

The truth hurts.

Not sure what you mean by added value.  I think they're fine and if we were sitting in the 8th or 9th spot right now the last thing I'd want to do is break up the team.  But I think by the end of this road trip it'll be time to throw in the towel on the season and I think they could help a playoff team a lot more than a rebuilding team like the Lakers.  I bring up Washington because they are having a good year but have a really, REALLY terrible bench.  They're trying to win their division and make a push for the conference finals and maybe Lou or Nick could help them do that.

Trading Nance would be a big mistake.  High value player on a small contract.  4 year college glue guy that gives 100% on both ends and a consistent effort every night - not easy to come by.

This is why I hate Golden State's game.  They can shoot well, so now every team thinks that hoisting up jumper after jumper from distance is the way to wins.

Honestly, this Laker team is frickin' horrible - fundamentally horrible.  And it's not on the coach, it's solely on the players.
