"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

This is the one game in the next bunch I have the Lakers winning.

But, the Lakers are terrible and capable of losing any game at any time.

I cant imagine the Lakers w/o Stu.

Been fearful for years for two moments: Kobe and Stu's retirement.

Stu is awesome.  I remember the Forum days and getting to games super early.  Fans/people were able to go to Chick and Stu and talk to them forever.  Understandably Chick had a lot of people bugging him (but he was always nice to everyone) so he kinda stopped earlier.  But Stu would talk to me straight up to the lineup announcements some games.  Just a great guy and an absolute basketball genius.

Russell off the court = immediate positive change in team energy.

Well we've seen the Lakers play without him. Team is better with him but still overall not good

Statistically better, but not by that much.

This unit without him plays well.

Gimme Ingram, Zubac and Nance - love their collective energy on the court.

Why did Russell kill the break to pass backwards to the 3 line?  Confusing.

Sure would be nice to see any of the young guys (outside of Ingram) put the ball on the floor and attack the paint.
