There's no question they'll be shipping out Rondo.  I'm just not sure for who or what.

I don't know about his on court production but I'm sure he's earned a lot of brownie points for sticking up for the young guns on the team, at least from me. I hated the way Butler and Wade handled their struggles and I'd be surprised if this doesn't tear the team apart.

The only person I've seen handle calling people out in the media and it working out was with Phil and that's only because he was calling out two of the more strong willed athletes in Kobe and Shaq. He's still trying to do that in New York and we've seen how that worked out

IF they can move Rondo they will.  Otherwise he's gone in the summer.  Pretty sure the second year of his deal is a team option.

Everyone knew this team wouldn't work from the start but this entire circus that's currently surrounding them is a huge shock.

It was very wrong of Wade and Butler to go out into the media like that.  These are things that should remain in-house.  They should have confronted their teammates face-to-face...  I'd expect more from such an experienced player and leader in Wade...

I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron makes a move to try and lure Wade sometime soon.  With this tirade, I'm pretty convinced he opts out of his player option.  Calling it now.  Wade to the Cavs next year haha

I don't care, but if Jimmy Butler is part of a fire sale, I'd call immediately.

If he isn't moved by the deadline, he'll get bought out. Rondo's recent instagram rant pretty much makes it impossible for them to keep him.

They need to make a choice.

They are either going to give Hoiberg a team that actually fits the style of play they brought him in to coach, or they will fire him and try to continue to build around (and failing) Jimmy Butler.

Hoiberg is a coach whose style is based around floor spacing and 3 point shooting.  They gave him a starting back court of Rondo and Dwyane Wade with Jimmy Butler at the 3.

That's like hiring D'Antoni to coach the Magic.

Anyway, they will have to make that decision sooner rather than later.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Butler is gonna be such a massive trade target for teams this coming summer.

What would you be willing to give up to get him?

The Bulls with him, Wade, and 4-5 role players are a .500 team.

I'm keeping Russell Ingram and Zubac. Anyone else can go.
