Gobert didn't make the All-Star team...

Who would you take out to put him in?

Utah crowd looks like a Trump rally

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Here's what I meant before.

The Jazz were playing in second gear and cruise control.  All they have to do is hit the gas a bit and the Lakers can't keep up (healthy or not).

I'm unfamiliar with who made it in his place.

Gobert didn't make the All-Star team...

I had KAT and Dame ahead of Deandre and Klay.

Yep i think dame more deserving than Klay

Rasheed Wallace is like Chris Webber.

Hated them both when they were playing but since retirement, I can't get enough of both of 'em.

Webber is by far the best color commentator at TNT

That's pretty much every team though. We don't really have a second gear, our team just isn't very talented. When teams go on runs, there is nothing we can do.

Yep.  I said this day one, and got roasted for this opinion as well.

I said the only way the Lakers win any game is because the other team messes up or relaxes.  For some reason nobody wanted to believe me, but hey, so be it.

In answer to your question (I just looked at the roster), I remove Davis.  He's a great player, but injured for a bunch of games.  Going by performance and not fame, Gobert deserves that spot.

Its always been a popularity contest though

Zubac's remarkably sedate, yet effective way is kind of fascinating.  Teach this the slightest amount of aggression and bolster his confidence just a bit more and something could pop.

And that's why I hate the All-Star game, it's flat out dumb, bordering on childish.  In my view it should be the season's best players, not the season's most popular.

What is up with this "pretend to set a pick" offense? How often does someone on our team actually set a legit pick?

Hahaha!

Hardly ever.  It's a one-footed slide more than anything else.  This team doesn't know the fundamentals well at all.  One of the many things I hate about the young players the Lakers have.

Zubac learning how to position himself to deny that first bump and step into the paint will help his game a ton.

Attack like that and calls will come your way.  Man, I do love watching this kid play.
