This comes in the wake of LeBron demanding his FO to make a move for additional help.

I love it when the media gives LeBronze a pass for throwing his teammates under the bus.

I guess the expectation was that Melo was going to come to Cleveland for nothing.

You guys are some haters. Either that or you never read the full quote on what he said.

A rookie and a guy fresh out the D-league are playing valuable minutes on a championship team. Losing Delly was a big blow to them. Dude was super underrated. He almost never turned the ball over and played some defense, that's valuable as hell for a championship squad.

I think the Cavs should pull the trigger on this deal.  I know Love is younger and rebounds more, but the plays Carmelo can create for himself and others would outweigh Love's benefits.

Totally disagree.  Love doesn't gum up the offense and actually tries to compete when he's not getting the ball.  Cavs dont need someone trying to create shots for himself on the elbow.  They need guys willing to do the little things, move the ball in the offense and compete.

I can see both sides of the deal really.

It's an interesting one.

The last thing the Cavs need to do is mess with chemistry.  Love is helpless in a lot of ways vs GS but he still gives them a better shot than Melo.  If Im trying to win I stay clear away from him.

Depends how serious the Knicks really are about trading Melo.  Doesn't appear to be much of a market for him.

Seems they are pretty serious about getting rid of Melo if they are trying to look for a 3rd team to do a trade.

If the Clippers pull this off without giving up one of their big cogs, I'd kick a stink about it like they did when they Lakers secured Chris Paul.

Wait...who breaks that news to Rivers?

His dad or his agent?

I was one who kinda wanted him here when he was a FA and we whiffed.

Glad we did now even though we are still so far from good and barely watchable

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

In 2017 Love is flat out the better player and younger.  He's a core piece as well, no reason the defending champs would trade him for a 33 year old Melo

They play different positions and have very different roles so better is debatable.  A waste of time, but debatable.

In my opinion though Love is definitely better for the Cavs.
