This team runs like crap (for the most part) when Russell leads the way.

Get Ingram back on the point.

Lol, the offense is even more stagnant and prone to chucking without Russell... I'm not sure what team you've been watching.

I'm watching a Laker team sputter when Russell runs the point.

I don't know why people are so defensive about Russell.  The kid has done nothing to earn so much fervor and devotion.

Randle is such a ball hog.

No, he just sucks.

This offense has just become to predictable and stagnant...

Nick isn't consistently hitting shots anymore and there's is no spacing with Randle on the court.  Do you see how much space Faried and co. are giving him?  They're literally giving him anything beyond 12 feet...

Russell is partially to blame, but there's simply not enough options right now.

That's the problem right there. The sooner everyone realizes Russell isn't a point guard the better. His handles are mediocre. His vision is nice but the right pass is hardly made and he doesn't initiate the offense.

Totally agree LakeShow, but when your options are low you move off the ball, you work hard to create opportunities.  Sulking and sticking in one spot like a plant does nothing for your offense.

Now defensively - good lord, this team (young or not) is absolutely atrocious.  I would be running practices without the ball at all and purely concentrating on defense.  At this point I don;'t think its system at all.  This terrible defense is solely on the players.  It's embarrassing and ridiculous.  I've seen plenty of young team over these decades watching the NBA and I've never seen a team play as lethargic on defense as these guys do - it's gross.

I agree he ain't a point guard, but this team doesn't need a mediocre shooting guard who can't learn how to play defense.  Deal him in the off-season while his value is somewhat up there.  Anything he gives the team on offense is given up more so on the defensive end.  Worse yet, I don't see him improving, working to change anything or caring about it at all.

I'm fine with getting rid of everyone not named Ingram. If Randle, Russell, Clarkson, Lou package can bring us two allstar caliber players then go for it.

Exactly, everyone is just standing... It's disgusting...  The Warriors are constantly cutting and moving so I'd think Luke would implement that but there's none of that.  This whole weaving offense that Luke currently uses in my opinion exerts energy for no reason.

Having Randle play point forward looks good when the team is making shots, but when he's up against a guy whom is just as physically capable in Faried, he shrivels.  Very tough half to watch...

I don't talk about this teams defense cause it's non-existent.

fido, I'd take into consideration that Rudy Gay deal you brought up earlier...  If we could dump Deng or Mozgov and attach Lou in the deal, I'd be all for it.  I think his scoring/defense/and athletcism would help.  Yeah he's a free agent next year but if we could dump Deng or Mozgov I'd still do it at this point.

If I deal any of those guys the other team(s) must take Mozgov as well.  That contract (along with Deng's) is an albatross around this team's neck.  I'm happy to see people finally come around to seeing that.  From day one, I hated those signings.  They're the moves of an incompetent and desperate ownership/management staff.

ABSOLUTELY!  I agree with you 90% LakeShow.  I don't want to deal Lou, he's the only guy bringing anything consistently to the team.  Ingram, Williams and Nance, everyone else I couldn't care less about.
