That whole possession was very stressful.

Randle is such a ball hog.

No it kind of made sense there since he had a much smaller Murray on him.  He should have swung it out thought the first time to Ingram for the open 3

Looks coaching stance outside of Randle seems to be 8 minutes on, 6 minutes off between the bench and starters... It's kind of concerning...

It's [expletive]ing stupid. I've never once seen him sub in and start killing it. He needs minutes on the floor to adjust. He's not Jamal Crawford

It is very stupid... that's my main flaw with Luke.  He has some very questionable lineups and rotations.  He seems to like to stick with Lou Williams alot but when I watch Lou, I actually think he hurts the team more than he does help despite leading the team in scoring.  He take alot of questionable shots, plays no defense, and impedes upon ball movement.

A large part to Russell's shooting woes has to be due to these long bench stints.

Almost seemed as if Nick was expecting Russell to take it all the way so he casually jogged the lane haha

The problem with both Randle and Russell is that they ALWAYS wanna make the sexy pass or play. You could tell Luke wants them to swing the ball but they're always trying to do so much and it results in Luke yanking them out the game.

I swear that Randle's brain is about 4 seconds behind the game every single night.

The physical ability is there, but it only sporadically connects.

Randle loves jumping and passing the ball.... Russell likes threading the needle.  Both extremely risky...

Russell does himself no favors when he does play.  He gets the same minutes everyone else does.

This ain't coaching, it's Russell.

Kobe jump passed constantly.

Yeah he doesn't, but sitting on the bench for 11 minutes between playing doesn't benefit a shooter either.

Randle isn't Kobe...

To clarify

7 wide open 3's for them, vs. 3 contest ones for us

So does Steph. NBA superstars are allowed to ignore fundamentals. We don't care if Harden gets 6 turnovers a game, but that's an awful game for Russell

I know, I was just pointing out that the jump passing thing is all too common.

I'm not listening to any excuses for Russell whatsoever.  Step up, you're a pro.

Who says nobody cares about 6 turnovers a game?  That kind of stuff is what will keep Harden from ever winning a ring.  Superstars are mostly superstars because their fundamentals are strong.  The current NBA rules pushing for more offense has allowed poor  defensive players to step through a bit.  Harden plays in a system that doesn't care about defense (which is why it won't ever win a ring), so he's thriving.  But rest assured, turnovers to assist ratio maters.

This team runs like crap (for the most part) when Russell leads the way.

Get Ingram back on the point.
