Zubac, making that stupid Mozgov signing look dumber with every second on the floor.

And some like the Mozgov signing and still defend it to this day - ugh.

I actually would rather see Zubac get the mins and experience over Mozgov. But since Moz is signed to that ridiculous deal he has to play.

I said that in the summer.

People railed on me here when I spouted off against the dumb Mozgov signing, trying to convince me (or maybe themselves) that Mozgov was some defensive stopper or something.  Another big man on the decline (a la Hibbert) that somehow the Lakers decided was the answer in the middle, even though he's a polar opposite of the direction the team is (supposedly) going in.

Rolling with a center core of Randle, Black and Zubac and starting Nance at the 4 would've been far, far smarter.

If it wasn't for Lou, this team would have 5 wins.

Russell is pointless.

Anything he does offensively he gives up two-fold on the defensive end.  I'd rather try different lineups.

Better point guard play by Randle there than Russell.

The team flows so much better when someone else (anyone else) besides Russell runs the point.

On that Moz deal we had little else to get that would come and with the way salarys went if he played a little better would've been a decent deal but as it is he's taking up space. Another close game

Let's give it a try.

The Lakers didn't even need to sign a big man.  Thyey were fine as is, but for some reason Mozgov was their first out of the gate signing.  There were other players the Lakers could've signed.  Mozgov was awful.

Watch the team and how they move on both ends of the court when Russell is out.  it's much more fluid and driven.  offense gets into the paint much more often and the ball doesn't die on the perimeter, making plays delay their start until late in the clock.
