Should the Lakers stay on course and ride it out with what we have or is it almost that time to make a move or tweak?

I think this team needs a tweak or two the problem is what do we have to give up, what would you give up and what’s available and obtainable?

That said which underperforming teams are ready to throw in the towel?

PHO?

DET?

POR?

NO?

BROOK?

PHI?

CHI?

MIA?

What do they have that we need and what do we have that they may want?

Obviously we all want a stud but at what cost?

Dreaming: I would love to see us move Moz and Deng or at least one of the two.

Realistic: I would like to see JC for Noel.

I'd say Luke is doing a pretty good job thus far, considering we didn't win 13 games last year till March.  We probably should see where this goes or is going, by all-star break.

Praying for  1. Youngsters Ballin (Didn't really happen on a consistent basis at all) 2. Miracle Trade (Also didn't happen. And we traded our best player for chump change) 3. Kick Ass Rooks (Zubac exceeded, Ingram tried but disappointed overall)

READY FOR SEASON TO BE OVER!!!

Well probably see low thirty some wins which is a major achievement  from last season! And all that and still may keep the pick would be a great scenario, major improvement and getting more ammo.

I'd only be willing to let go of Jordan clarkson. Otherwise I don't really care.

Would've rather had Fournier right now than clarkson. Same age but bigger and better shooter

But in terms of clarkson for Noel I'm a big proponent of that just based on Noel's ability to finish and block shots.

Him off the bench instead of black or Robinson improves us quite a bit

Also it allows Calderon to pair with Williams which may actually lead to better follow offensively

What we need is obvious...

We won't do what we need to nor will we target who we need to target.

How about trying to get Bogut to LA without giving up too much. He's one of the most impactfull defenders in the league and he's made it quite clear that he isn't staying in Dallas beyond this season - for Tarik Black and a 2nd round pick and ....something?

ride it out.
nobody wants those massive contracts, I would be surprised if anyone takes them without us giving up someone we don't want too - Randle / Russell

Stay the course...be patient. I think Luke is doing a great job. We've been derailed by injuries and a tough schedule. These kids have a lot of growing left to do, but I've been mostly pleased with their progress and continuing development.

Agreed for the most part however I wouldn't mind some tweaks and attempting to trim the fat (the unecessary big contracts).

MIL Monroe: he's been benched, minutes reduced, unhappy, the FO has shown interest in moving him, contract: this year & next (PO)...

Moz for Monroe

Deng for Monroe

Salaries match on either situation.

Damn if MIL bit on Monroe for Moz...

Would CHI take back Deng? Send over Rondo, I can deal with his contract.

The only way you get rid of Moz or Deng is with a sweetener.  Deng can still play, Im down on Mozgov after the first 25 games.  Could be a solid backup role somewhere but no way he's an impact guy on a rebuilding team.
