BTW shouldn't thread title be 'expendable'?

Expandable sounds like a player who is a fatty (Barkley for instance)

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

I have no problem with the showboating if we're winning. It gets the team and crowd into it. Raises the entire places energy....I actually think it's a smart thing to do.

I wish Clarkson would play more like he did last night. Didn't force the issue and gave the extra pass when necessary.

Not really.

You're not trashing and showing up an opponent and proving little class and then display it for the tv audience on nba tv when you graduate college and celebrate.

Not that the guys shouldn't be happy about playing well and beating a quality opponent because they absolutely should. Just know your place (which is at the bottom of the standings with a reputation for playing soft, and giving up huge leads, being a terrible road team and not much better at home)

We were winning. They can celebrate. The game is entertainment. I don't see anything wrong.

You're assuming that them celebrating is to intentionally show up their opponents. When I played sports and would celebrate, I wasn't thinking about my opponent at all...I was just having fun! I also wasn't thinking about our season record during each game.

Some of y'all don't watch enough games.
Clarkson is trending up the past few games.
Only way we hung with Toronto

Honestly as I stated earlier I would say most expendable would be JC but I would hate to give up on him so soon however with Lou and Nic on board its a bit redundant and JC seems to be the one who would fetch the best return of those Im willing to give up...

JC for Noel

or...

JC + Young for the best return.

Celebrating anything other than a chip is foolishness. The USC quarterback just threw a touchdown pass but didn't go celebrate because he knew that's not significant the larger picture was winning the game. In an 82 game season you may celebrate a hard fought say overtime win but keep it in perspective, iOws act like you've been there before.

Lakers need to hire Nash lol. He'd do wonders with our guards.

Guards?????  Huertas, Calderon, Russell and Clarkson???  What the hell would Nash do with this?? Thats like saying Phil would make the exact roster a 58 win team

It all depends what you can get for them. If I had to give up Russell, Clarkson, Nance, Ingram and Randle and I could get Embiid, Wiggins and Wall do I hesitate??

Unless the Celtics offered him Bradley for Clarkson or something

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

If Clarkson had Bradleys defense he'd be the best backcourt mate for Russell.

I believe both will be good enough defensively to hold their own.

L.A. Lakers center Timofey Mozgov admitted to missing the city of Cleveland, answering a related question by 60smol.com.

“To be honest I miss that place,” said the Russian big guy. When asked what made it so special, he added, “Everything was special.” Mozgov spent the previous season with the Cavaliers winning the championship ring.

Regarding his current team’s progress and the recent struggles that have brought the Lakers to a 14 – 26 record, he said, “So far we got some tough losses. But I think we’ll soon play the same as played in the beginning of the season. Be together and enjoy the game. We’ll be good.”

Mozgov averages 8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 24 minutes per game with the Lakers.

With Robinson's emergence; it's becoming apparent that Larry Nance is the most expendable.
