I'm still stupefied by the Lakers signing Mozgov - no less for 4 years and as their out of the gate free agent go to guy.

It's not my money but... yeah we need more size/athleticism at that spot. Too many freakish bigs in the league right now. Still, our perimeter lack of defense does him no favors.

Clarkson is playing in controlled chaos mode. It's hard to keep him from the rim when he really sets out to attack.

Very true.  But he is supposed to shore up the middle even with a good perimeter defense.  Something he's never done, can't do and won't ever do.

The money doesn't bug me, that is the market.  It's signing him for 4 years!  Ugh!

Anyway - good to see Clarkson wake up his butt up.

We have a nasty habit of ball watching when Barnes/Matthews are posting up. Whoever is on him let that man do his job. Either you double quickly or stop looking at him and guard who's in front of you. Ball watching led to an open 3 earlier on Ingram's man.

I wonder why Zubac gets absolutely no run when the Lakers are having such a difficult time with any kind of defense inside.

Teams run the same plays over and over and this team just can't seem to recognize the patterns.

This is what is monumentally frustrating about Russell.  Why is he not hyper-aggressive this game, trying to probe the middle or break down defenses? He should be killing it tonight.  But again, he just looks lethargic and lazy - waiting for the game to come to him rather than going out there to get it.

I wonder the same thing. 7 footer, rim protector, yes he's raw but still. Give the kid a little burn
