Bulls blew a big lead vs the Clippers. So expect them to play with a chip on their shoulders.

The second night of the back to backs are extremely valuable for us this season since Clippers are wearing them out on the first one. I hope D'Angelo is back.

D'Angelo should be rested till he's 100%.  No need to push too hard right now and suffer a setback or hit a wall late or midway through the season.

I saw that whole game. They really did blow it. Tough loss, but I think it's more likely they should be a bit gassed after all that effort.

Still, I hope our guys don't relax or assume that and really take it to them, especially early. Send a message quickly and try to discourage them.

yo.

Can't let losing become a routine this early in the season. Especially not at home.

Don't feed the trolls.

Wade ruled out. Rondo questionable. They played last night.

Very, very winnable game.

yeah but our problem this year has been when the stars on another team are out we come out lackadaisical and dig a hole for ourselves.

We can't afford to let that happen tonight or Jerian Grant will eat us up.

More worried about Butler/Taj/RoLo eating us up, but given that Chicago is fatigued, and on a long road trip, and missing 2 (potentially) starters, I am seeing that as beneficial to us. Luke is a smart guy, he knows a trap game when he sees one and he knows that this team and particularly the starters tend to come out flat. Got to get the message across and get the guys motivated. I would be disappointed with a loss and even more so disappointed if they came out lackadaisical and expected to win.

I don't think  the issue is that the other team's stars weren't playing.  That certainly wasn't the case in our losses against SAS, Minnesota, Indiana, OKC, Utah, and probably not even Dallas.

Wait, that's all of our losses.

The issue is that we are a pretty average team that gives up a ton of points, making our margin of error very thin.

D’Angelo Russell is playing tonight. Meeting with the docs clearly went well.

No Wade, no Rondo, but our D is so bad that anything can happen.

We need to win this game and the OKC game to guarantee we will be over .500 after those 2 GS games.
