tier 1 - the avengers, the dark knight
tier 2 - guardians, winter solidier, logan, days of future past
tier 3 - iron man, first class, civil war
actually thought ant man and dr. strange were pretty good consider they were about characters no one really cared about before the movies came out
the impact of that first avengers movie is something that will be impossible to recreate, ...which, aside from it just being a damn good movies, a lot of why it rates as my #1 marvel movie. to do something that hadn't really been done before, and execute it as well as they did kind of blew my mind at the time.

Avengers is one of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen. But I wouldn't put it in the same breath as Logan or TDK
Those movies are just above and beyond as films of substance. I've never seen the comic book hero more closely examined than Logan or TDK
What do you sacrifice, what do you have to do in order to protect people, what does it cost
Those two movies just did so perfectly. The acting as well in both are far and away better than any other. I'm talking a different league.
I think avengers is raised higher because of its initial excitement seeing everyone on screen. It doesn't stand the test of time as well as TDK has for example because once the novelty wears off to me it's a very entertaining well made popcorn movie

fair enough...don't disagree with those points really
i put avengers up there with DK in an all things considered sense, which is hard...trying not to focus on specific things one or the other movie did well. mostly about how the movie made me feel when i first watched it. it is weird, because they're different movies, with different tones, trying to do different things.
well let's get back on topic, let us know what you thought robblake once you check it out

Every scene had a purpose, the pace of the movie had great dynamics and can we please acknowledge Hugh J. Acting chops! The kids in the movie performed well and benefited from the veteran performers. I did very much enjoy seeing the power of Charles and how he's more than some mutant that can read minds.. it was hard to grasp how powerful he was in precious movies despite obvious showcasing.
Also violence was perfect and not over done.

Captain America Winter Soldier
Age of Ultron
The First Avenger
I really liked Thor, but still uncertain where to place it.
If I'm comparing TDK with Marvel, I'd place somewhere in the B tier
- Game and Majesty like this
Pau Gasol is GONE

@mang0ld Hey James! I watched Logan 3 times I'm so in love with it. I am just curious, would you do a Dark Knight Returns Batman movie?

Yo. Let's squash the DC/Marvel beef . They both came from comics!
Hilarious... can't stand Kenny though.
