Really enjoyed the slow pace of the 1st chapter. Game is stunning once you leave the snow. I just set up the camp near valentine. The controls and how complex some actions are is annoying. But I love it so far. Can’t wait to roam this massive map and find some gems.

just finished the snow area myself, not sure when i'll have time to get back to this, but i'm intrigued.  agree about the controls, a little much.  These games with all these complicated controls are starting to kill me because i go so long in between sessions that i forget which controls are for which games.  then by the time i get back into them, i have to stop for whatever reason.

games i've started over the last year so and still need to finish -

uncharted: the lost legacy (almost done, but haven't picked it up in awhile)

horizon: zero dawn (probably 40% done or so)

god of war (maybe half an hour in)

spider-man (70%+ done)

red dead redemption 2 (just started)

how the [expletive] am i supposed to keep all these control schemes straight when i sometimes go months between playing some of these.

Tell me about it. I beat God of War, but I've been itching to get the platinum and have not played it for months. Have played Spiderman and Bloodborne in between. Been half a year since I've touched HZD and I really want to beat that game. I feel like I need to start a new game on HZD because of sitting on it for so long...

Red Dead is my only game worth playing haha. I’ve been trying not to kill anyone to save my rep. How are you guys handling those situations ? Currently have a bounty for running over a guy with my crazy ass horse but he’s the only one.

I finished a mission and was looting some bodies when some bounty hunters started attacking me. My horse couldn’t out run them it was probably 5-6 dudes. I finally stopped in the woods and shot it out with them. Killed them then a pack of wolves attacked me😳. Thank goodness for the double barrel shotty! Great game. Pray I don’t get rabies. I thought you pay off bounties at the bounty hunter icon lol. It’s the post office BTW😉.

It's too damn crazy how quick you can get wanted, and how high the bounty can get on you man

Yep. That’s why I’m nice to everyone and only rob and kill during missions. I saw the guy panning for gold and let him get some and ride off. Even remote areas are a little too populated always a damn witness. I had some people shooting at me again without a bounty. I’m assuming it was the O’Driscoll gang. They were blocking a bridge and wouldn’t let me pass earlier in my session. Annoyed with cover mechanics and firing behind cover. It’s pretty bad. Game is good but a lot of things should’ve been better. Hoping for a patch soon.

It's my game of the year, the story and the characters are fantastic. Arthur Morgan is my favorite character I've played as in a long time.

It was entertaining but had its frustrating moments too. The prologue was a tad long IMO. I didn’t care for the majority of its missions. But I understood it’s necessity. I cared about Arthur a good deal but all the characters had their moments. I liked Charles particularly. He had an interesting story I would’ve liked to see more of. My favorite mission was the hot air ballon lol. Wish I could get that back to cruise around the map. The slow horse trekking can get tedious. Wish it would’ve auto piloted to destinations and to camp a lot more often. I still have a ton of exploring left to do. Look forward to that. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the beautiful graphics. Music was fantastic too. Solid 8-10 for me.
