Never played the first one, but heard great things. Excited about this.

i wish i was young again...now that i have the money to buy video games, i buy tons of them, but never have time to play them.  i have 6-10 games on PS3 that i never even started (red dead being one of them) and a few i never got around to finishing.

my PS4 game count is up to 12+ and i've only been able to finish metal gear 5 and uncharted 4 (also beat uncharted 1 on the ps4 on the remasted edition as it was the only one i hadn't played)

at the same, i invest a lot of my gaming time into fighting games, (UMVC3 ps3 & SFV ps4) so other genres suffer

i'll be adding this to my collection either way

Feelin' you Game, I haven't even been able to finish MGSV.

But this game is a must add for my collection. I'll get to it eventually... Haha

First one was one of the first 3 games I bought when I first got my PS3.

Like the day before my classic white PS3 was delivered from Japan lol I went to Gamestop and got this, Arkham Asylum and God of War 3.

This was the first one I popped in and played for like 4 hours straight. It was pretty fun at first. Then it got kinda boring. Those initial four hours are like half the time I've put into this game in its lifetime lol. Last time I played I used cheats to make it interesting. That was easily like a year or maybe even 2 years ago.

Definitely not a guaranteed cop for me. Wait and see approach for sure. This playing nice with the PS4 Pro would help its cause for sure, for me.

if you can find the time, highly recommend it, immediately jumped up to one of my favorite games of all time...thought very difficult at parts...especially if you're trying to get all 4 endings, very rewarding as well

still have nightmares about mission 42 - extreme metallic archaea

My experience with it exactly. It is the same mold as GTA, just with a wild west skin. I haven't been enamored with GTA since san andreas, probably will pass on this as well. If I was a bigger fan of the western theme I would def get this though.

All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl :D

Amazon has this for $50.99 right now and if you have Prime, you get an extra $3 discount too.

Went ahead and pre-ordered and it came out to $52.

There's a few more future release games for $50.99 btw.

saw that because i have a few games sitting in my cart.  if you have prime, and you buy it at any point between now and 2 weeks after it comes out, you'll end up paying the same...they new release prime discount equals $47.99, so looks like they're just piggybacking on that discount.

got all excited earlier cuz i thought i'd get an extra 20% on top of the $50.99 price

would have ordered red dead and resident evil 7
