My reasoning on Durant for MVP is that he's going to play some very efficient basketball (watch the pre-season glimpses) on a close to 70-win team. His biggest obstacle is having Curry on his team, but I really think he can be "the man" on that team.

LeBron is in chill-mode for the regular season. Westbrook isn't going to win 50 games. Is Harden going to win 50 games? Will the Spurs be as dominant or as last year, or even come close enough to make Kawhi a favorite? Will Indiana be a player in the East? Lots of questions.

I can realistically see Chris Paul taking the award if the Clippers win 55+ and lock up the #2 seed. That's not out the question.

Excluding my Durant pick (and Curry as well for the hell of it), here's what I see the race looking like.

1. Chris Paul
2. Kawhi Leonard
3. LeBron James
4. James Harden/Russell Westbrook
6. Paul George
7. Damian Lillard (Kerr's pick)

Am I crazy to think Towns could make All-NBA First Team?

Maybe he's too young still but man he looks like a generational talent.

He might make 2nd team all nba.

Cousins seems more probable for 1st

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Im not on the Twolves hype train yet.  Im damn sure not putting up in the playoffs and taking out OKC until I see them win games foreal.

I'm all aboard the KAT hype-train, but he can only take them so far. I'm cool off of immediately locking them into the playoffs. I have them at 8, but by no means are they as legit as people think.

I agree with what yall saying but we have to remember there's probably no coach who squeezes more wins out of lesser talent than Thibs. The west is not really the dynamite conference it has been in the past and with health it deff is possible.

As far as KAT I believe he can go as far as top 10 in the league this year, mans was hitting step back jumpers that guards can't really hit during the preseason. Such a talent

And no coach that runs his talent into the ground more during the regular season than Thibodeau too.  I predict more wins, but several lingering injuries for the Wolves this season.

I'd disagree on a few of those but that's actually pretty reasonable. Don't think Embiid gets any honors due to injury however.
