So anyone want to predict who our first meeting will be with?

I would say Horford (wishful thinking) or Parsons. Maybe even Barnes. After that, I don't see any meetings happening. Those are usually reserved for the upper-tier guys.

I really don't know. At this point do we at a midnight meeting?

Not sure. But I hope the silence bodes well. So far no news on Horford either besides OKC trying to target him.

At this point Mitch and Jim should hit up the local LA Fitness gym or park.

Batum is great, but let's say the phone call isn't convincing enough for him...

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind going after both Parsons and Dwight together.  This team really needs a quality Center and despite one's hatred for what Dwight did, I still think he brings alot to the table.  I'd give Dwight a contract like $50 million for 2 years and see if he bites.  Although many on this forum hate Dwight, I still think he'd be an ideal fit around our young core in terms of talent (probably not off the court or leadership wise though haha).

Think about, would you rather pay Biyombo max money, or Dwight in the $25-27 range for just 2 seasons.  2018 = THE REAL FREE AGENCY CLASS

I'm ok with Parsons and Dwight...most here are not.  And ideal?  Dwight wants post touches he won't get in this offense...not ideal but it could work.

Turner can play the much talked about Iguodala role for the Lakers. He should've received more 6MOY attention last season because he was very solid. At this point, he'd be a welcomed addition to a team lacking veteran experience.

Parsons is in LA so possibly.

Mitch needs to be quick on that payphone.

Sources: As 12:01 AM nears, free agent Hassan Whiteside's focus is centered on Miami and Dallas. Decision could come quickly on July 1.

Biyombo it is for us

It's looking more and more like Mitch has already traded for Bogut or Ezeli or has a trade in discussion for one of them.  That's the only reason I can think of for them not offering HW the max.

Mitch moves in silence.  Just because we don't hear about moves doesn't mean they aren't happening behind the scenes.

If they have a trade for BIG, I wouldn't mind Parsons or Batum as a Stretch/Playmaking 4 / SF.

People have been saying this for the past few years. Silence has usually meant we missed out lol.

Luke's connection to GSW coupled with Mitch's connection to Ryan West and his connection to Jerry West...not a lot of "credit" there...more like nepotism.

I don't think most of those moves were possible...what we want and what is realistic are rarely in the same galaxy...

Really hope they aren't considering Bogut. There's a reason GSW wants to trade him, without even having a commitment from Durant.

He barely plays 20 minutes per game and is only effective for the first half of that. We would still need another center to cover for the games he misses and the time he can't play. It's a physical struggle for him to even stay on the court at this point.

Horrible option.

And playing records backwards with hidden hypnotic messages to lore free agents

Sources have stated that Mike penberthy, Chris mihm and Anthony pig miller have already started to move upon noticing the signals

Agreed. And I don't want Ezeli. He was garbage during the Finals and has been far too injury prone. At the money he's looking for, I'll pass.

This could literally mean we are going after in C in the NBA. It could be a Cousins trade. Doesn't mean we are getting Bogut.

Anyway, since when did the Lakers become a cancer from the perspective of FA's?

Oh, right, when Jerry died and his kids took over.

Hearing Lakers sending Byron to NY to tell Durant and HW to man up for not meeting with the Lakers.
