Robinson deserves them more tbh

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Based on production, hustle and rebounding he showed at the 5 and being more ready than Zubac currently is.

But I'm sure either Black or Zubac will get the start vs Howard who will be licking his chops. So let's hope Zubac can compete! He isn't ready but he may still have a good surprise game.

I'm more afraid of his tendency to be lost on both ends as the game slows down.

Played a lot better than Robinson. And Robinson had more reps.

Ypu cannot teach height to Robinson. I am not saying throw the kid out to the fire, but he has to get his feet wet in order to see how deep the water is.

I like TRobs hustle though

Did you even watched the video? Or even the SummerLeague? Tell me 1 guy who came to the nba with this kinda post moves in the last 10 15 years at the age of 19.

For a guy with 19 years old he has an amazing footwork, he can finish through contact and he's nimble enough to run the break for his size, so many other things you just don't see in a guy 7.1 with only 19 years old.

I was kinda curious how you came up with that conclusion off of two clips in practice.

I don't disagree with u at all. I think he's gonna be serviceable in this league sometime in the future

I didn't came with this conclusion only from 2 clips, i saw all Lakers SummerLeague games and watched some clips of him playing in europe.

I disagree with you when you say he will be serviceable :D, i think he will be our best prospect alongside Ingram.

Ok I misunderstood. I saw you quote the video that's why.

Yeah anything is possible.

Thankfully I had to leave early since that game was awful, but I saw he played in the box score so I went on Youtube to find his highlights.

It was only one game, in garbage time and the game was already over. With all that said, I like the kid. He defends the pain well, has soft hands around the paint, hook shot, baby hook, mid range game, passes nicely, and he is 7 footer.

Okafor. The guy out of the rotation in freaking Philadelphia.

Defense + Mid Range > Post moves in today's NBA for a center in terms of what teams search for

if you just have post moves and no defense or mid range you become a bench player unless you're a superstar.

If you have defense, mid range AND post moves you're touted.  Okafor has one(post moves) but not the other two, however his mid range has improved, but his lack of defense is why thus he is now a bench player and thus out of the rotation in Philly.

Zubac's upside is what he shows he may one day be capable as a defender at the NBA level which is why people are high on him, the post skill and mid range are the icing on top of that.
