I don't care what player he's working with this summer, so long as he's hitting them weights

He'll gain weight. He's only 19 and probably still growing into his body.

Look at a young Durant, KG, Davis, etc. All had the same "problem". And all will likely be HOFs

Like I said earlier, Im not worried about Ingram at all...

Im more concerned over losing our pick, Randle, JC and the Moz & Deng contracts.

When i was 18yrs old, I weighed about 145lbs with 7% body fat. Really skinny and i would do anything to gain weight. Now 20 something years later I'm 180 with 12% body fat and trying to loose weight.

What am i trying to say here? This whole weight issue will come as he gets older. Like you said, AD got bigger after his 3rd year or so. Let's just be patient.

It's not about weight alone.

Sometimes the game moves too fast for all the young guys.

Ingram will be like Paul George.
Russell is like Manu.
And Zubac is possibly another Bynum.

If Randle can be in that Odom, Green, Kukoc, realm of contributions, I see no reason why he can't stay. His shot may never be money but he will improve

I don't see Bynum. I think Bynum was just a raw athlete that Kareem kinda moleded into a skilled big man. Young Bynum was also a freak athlete. Before his first knee injury that guy was slamming on everyone.

I think zubac has qualities but he's not the athlete Bynum was in 2007. You're talking about a guy who was headed towards being a legit 20-10 guy who was an elite defensive anchor

Maybe zubac becomes that. But I don't think even Marc gasol had Bynums potential pre knee injury

I mean obviously he won't gain all the weight overnight, or even without doing anything. But with proper diet and exercise, he can make a lot of progress in the offseason. He will have professional trainers and nutritionists by his side, why would anyone think Ingram couldn't do it. I mean the kid was trying to eat 5k calories a day before the Lakers staff told him to stop.

Look at AD or Durant. They put on ten solid pounds or so of muscle every offseason. Maybe leaned out a bit during the season. Repeat next year. And now both of them have easily added 30-40 pounds to their frame and have no problem dealing with the physicality of the league. I think Ingram can and will do the same.

Since Allstar break (13 games)

13.7 ppg on 50.3 fg% (60.0 2p% 26.2 3p%) 47.5 ft%

Since Boston game (9 games)

15.2 ppg on 52.8 fg% (60.5 2p% 29.6 3p%) 50.0 ft%

The boy has been absolute fire. Once he practices those free throw, and 3 point, he is gonna rule next season.

He's starting to show immense potential. He's been attacking at a consistent basis and just as importantly he seems like he's under control physically now. Doesn't look nearly as awkward moving towards the basket as earlier in the season
