i read thast ingram is eating 5000 Calories a day.

 

My ideal weight for him would be 220 by 2nd year and by 3-4 year, hopefully he can be at 240 pounds.

Dont think his weight is going to be an issue. Nerlens Noel also were skinny as hell but gained about 25 pounds pretty fast.

220 by next year is very optimistic.

That's a LOT.  He'd have to gain close to 30lbs.  I'd rather him gain 10-15lbs the first year max and then add another 5-10 after that slowly.  Let his body adjust to the added weight before packing on more.

 

240lbs?  WOW...no.  He's a SF.  LO played at 220 during the Championship years...that's about as much as I'd like to see Ingram put on in his first 5 years...no more.

 

 

And LO played PF!

 

240lb would be too much weight...if he could add it while retaining mobility and speed, fine...but I don't think it should be the goal.  That much added weight does one thing: increase risk of injury.

I think ~220 is probably his optimum weight. 

 

He's always going to be a skinny dude. That's just his body type. He's a lean, mean, 3 point shooting machine. Don't want him bulking too much too fast. He'll get there.

He should get on my diet. I mean it wont be muscle weight but he will get to 220 no problem.

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

Hey you can eat donuts and ice cream and gain weight but its not a healthy solution, slower and more healthy diet building muscle and stamina is better. gaining weight between the ears ie; experience is key too. Wishing you the best and Rookie of the year!!

he has been quiet ever since the draft. i hope he locked himself in the gym and maybe close to a  swimming pool to get his body stronger.
