Brandon Ingram’s favorite team? "Of course, the Lakers,” he jokes. Then says it was Sonics w/ KD, then OKC w/ KD. Favorite player: KD, obv.

He has a good chance to be the best Laker to wear #14 if he can surpass Sam Perkins and Slava Medvedenko 😃

I hope he eats something on the way to LA.

I wont lie, I love DUKE and their program and usually root Bluedevils. But Duke stars usually are not worth the draft pick in the NBA. Obviously Irving is the stand out and thats more recent. The odds just dont seem in their favor. I believed Bobby Hurley was going to be an awesome NBA player. And he would have been so if not for his unfortunate car accident  in 93 that ruined his career. That was my first lesson in how nothing is guaranteed.

Since 1990 Duke stars that were top 10 NBA picks
2015, Pick 3, Jahil Okafor (jury is still out)

2015, Pick 10, Justin Winslow (bust)

2014, Pick 2, Jabari Parker (decent, role player with potential)

2012, Pick 10, Austin Rivers (bust in regards to the scoring hype)

2011, Pick 1, Kyrie Irving (best Duke pick ever)

2006, Pick 5, Sheldon Williams (who?)
2004, Pick 7, Luol Deng (role player for life)

2002, Pick 2, Jay Williams (super bust for a 2 pick)

2001, Pick 6, Shane Battier (great defender)

1999, Pick 1, Elton Brand (great career but was a bust as a #1 pick. Never was what was projected, just a good role player)

1994, Pick 3, Grant Hill (Awesome on both ends, when he was healthy. Hill was the 90's D-Rose)

1993, Pick 7, Bobby Hurley (how do you go from dishing out 10 asp in your first 20 games to almost none....Car accident)

1992, Pick 3, Christian Laettner (played the longest career of the Dukies. But just a role player, not worth a #3 pick)

OK. The draft is over and the interviews are coming in.

Am I the only person who think Ingram does sound exited to be part of this team?? Maybe he was hoping to go into a small city where i can have big dreams like his tat says.

Maybe he is just a calm kid and not too emotional.

I am still not impress with Ingram's demeanor all through this draft. I hope he gets exited to be here as time goes on. So far I am not impressed.

Have you ever seen KD's interviews at the same age?  LOL...if not, you should.

Some people just aren't overly emotional or comfortable with expressing that emotion in front of the camera.

How is Winslow a bust? He was just drafted last year?

Parker and okafor both still have the jury out as does Winslow

Irving has been awesome

luol deng has been more than a role player. He was a borderline all star for much of his career

Jay Williams was pretty good before the motorcycle accident and grant hill was a hall of fame level player before the injuries

And Elton brand was an elite 20-10 PF before he snapped his Achilles

I almost puke when i read it... Basically what he's saying was, if you're a dukie the potential to be a bust is very high... Haha

i like Winslow.. NBA ready body, plays defense.. he is not a bust to me. Defensive minded/slasher... reminds me of a bigger Trevor Ariza. and Ariza eventually got his jump shot straight. Winslow will be alright. he may not be star or whatever some deems an a bust, but he will be a player that teams will want on their squad i. just my two cents

I don't comprehend how anyone who has only played 1 season could be a bust.....let alone a 10th pick.
