Bosh has to be cleared by NBA doctors and that's not happening. He can literally die on the court. There is zero chance he gets cleared for anything.

OFFICIAL: Lakers Waive Blue, Wear, and Weber

Julius Randle (right intercostal strain) did not practice today. He will be re-evaluated on Monday.

16 players on roster, 1 more to be left off the team, might be Caruso or Bogut.

Give it to Caruso. I don't understand what they did with Wear, he came two days ago and now he's gone, without one single minute in preseason.

Blue makes no sense to me, what he brings to the table we already have it with Clarkson. I know he played well in the SL, but come on... another 2 with tunnel vision? Matt Thomas made more sense, shooters is what we don't have.

I agree we have already seen Blue in the NBA and he isnt very good plus we dont need whatever he brings to the court. I guess people want him because of what he did in the summer league

Interested to see the lineups Luke will run.

I think the back-court will be just fine regardless of the combination of guys. The frontcourt is a different story and i think - hope - that they will make sure that at least 1 of the PF and C will be able to shoot 3s.

So basically pair one of Bogut, Randle, Nance, Zubac with Lopez, Deng, Kuzma or Bryant.

Yeah, i prefer better shooting and spacing for Ball to operate freely but i want one defender or rebounder big on the floor all the time. If you have Kuzma, pair him with Bogut or Lopez with Randle. Although i am very pleased with the Clarkson-Randle led bench, i think Nance can not be out starting 4.

I also did not see a shooter in Bryant, does he have the range to be considered a 3 point shooter?

Deng should not see the court.

I tihnk the biggest issue is that we are too loaded in the front-court. Plain and simple.

Regarding Bryant i dont really see him even seing the floor until maybe next season, but theoretically he's a shooter coming out of college.

Im in favor of Zu getting minutes over Bogut...

Can't think of any scenario likely to unfold this season where it makes more sense to play Bogut.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

I wouldnt mind starting Bogut for 5 minutes every other game and sitting him unless a defensive substitution situation arises.

Brook comes in for the rest of the first and we have Zubac play spot minutes in between.
