Its a fine move. He's a solid defender and his lack of a jumper might be ok in certain lineups.

Never heard of the guy

Praying for  1. Youngsters Ballin (Didn't really happen on a consistent basis at all) 2. Miracle Trade (Also didn't happen. And we traded our best player for chump change) 3. Kick Ass Rooks (Zubac exceeded, Ingram tried but disappointed overall)

READY FOR SEASON TO BE OVER!!!

Never heard of the guy

I think he was among the leaders in steals in the NCAA a few years in a row. He's a solid on-ball defender, but i'm not sure he does much else.

I knew of Zimmerman.  Lots of talent...good athlete.  Lack of strength makes it hard to keep him on the floor.  See Maker without the KG-like wiry strength.

Anyone else questioning the direction we're taking as far the Center position?

Lopez

Zubac

Bryant

Bryant is most likely the fast guy in that group and the most raw...but all of them have heavy feet.  I wonder if we should go with a more athletic C...I'm hoping Zubac gets a little leaner and stronger along with a little more explosion and speed.

Will be interesting to see how Luke's system evolves and what role the Center position plays.

Huh?

Lopez is a rental...
Zubac was drafted by previous regime.
Bryant is a nobody

We didn't have to draft Bryant...we could have kept Tarik or Thomas Robinson...both more athletic and better defensively.  We didn't know KCP was going to be available so that's not an excuse...

We could have drafted Jordan Bell at 30 instead of Hart...

Could have drafted Ike Anigbogu instead of Bryant...more athletic and better defender/rim protector.

I would have thought that after drafting Ball, we would have prioritized speed, defense and rim protection at the C position...

You oversimplified what I said to disagree.  Not worth it to argue this point.  I get you disagree so let's just leave it at that.
