can we sign players from the dleague to our team?

We can but we would have to release someone since we have a full roster

You may be right. Just not sure we can get a lot of scoring out of Huertas, Ingram, Deng, Randle Mozgov lineup was all

Thats why bench should be kept intact together and play them Thibodeau minutes.

Lou, Clarkson and Ingram might average more minutes than usual, as was the case lately.

Seems to me we'll have to ride the " Live and die with Lou" for a while.

^I'd argue we'd be better off not starting off being a hole we'll be trying to dig ourselves out the whole game.

I agree.

Luke has been playing their 2nd unit more minutes though. So maybe Clarkson or/and lou will play more minutes with starters.

Kinda level off the discrepancy between both units.

This is probably why I would not have kept Metta. This is where that extra spot could help. Josh Magette would not be a bad call up until one of the bad PG's came back. Just a 10 day contract. But, oh well.

No D League guard would have played better than what Metta did last game which was solid on both sides.

With all the injuries we have, it looks like Luke is going to have to suit up for the Lakers.

I know it's bleacher but... you think the Front Office is giving Deng the side eye?

If Lakers don't win a few more soon, lots of guys will get blame.

Heard Black out for tonight too.

Someone other than Lou (and deng to a lesser degree) has to step up and be a game changer of late

Praying for  1. Youngsters Ballin (Hockey stick growth curve for Randle, D'lo, Nance and Clarkson ASAP) 2. Miracle Trade (Lakers need a top 10 player...or maybe 2 to compete w bigboys) 3. Kick Ass Rooks (Ingram and Zubac getting playing time and impacting games)

READY FOR SEASON!

Lou is having a great season. Easy 6MOY winner if we were in the playoffs (Gordon looks to be a shoe-in ATM).

0-4 though, lol. No team with Lou as the featured scorer will win many games...that's just not his role. Although he's playing out of his mind, I'd much rather prefer that we weren't in a position that requires Lou to get 30+ just so we have a chance. Other guys need to step up, and more importantly we need to get healthy.

It's a good sign, though. Lots here wanted Lou gone, but he's on one of the best valued contracts in the league. Once we get healthy, he's going to continue balling to the tune of 15-20 ppg on 50% shooting, while we actually win some games.

Mitch Kupchak looked ahead to upcoming trade deadline + told me no one was untouchable in this league but he liked the Lakers' current mix.

If Lakers waive Jose Calderon, don't be surprised if he ends up in Cleveland.

Does he mean buy out?  I'd keep Jose as injury insurance rather than save money.  Better than Huertas.

Wasn't Kobe invited one year but couldn't participate? I forget which year, maybe his MVP season
