Anyone notice no one seems to want to play or has an injury?

Offhand-KD, RW, Curry, Harden, Blake, AD? (probably others i cant recall right now).

I doubt I will watch any olympic hoops

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

It's a bit disappointing to see, I was actually looking forward to it.

We should still have a pretty strong team despite a lot of people stepping out.

Absolutely cause of the virus. I read something about it not being safe to have kids for a couple years after being exposed to it.

I don't blame them for being scared of the zika virus that still active over there in RIO. I feel like they should cancel the Olympics in general but we know that ain't happening.

I agree, but they are looking at the revenue it brings in. Can you imagine the players getting sick and bringing it back to the US. It would be crazy

True, unfortunately the Olympics  only cares $$$ about rather then peoples' health.

I honestly think it's a good idea for NBA players to skip the Olympics. The 82 season is already taking its toll on players health and playing all summer is just too much.

I think nba players should have ONE shot at the Olympics. That's it.

Pau says if he goes, he may free his sperm.  (We've crossed a line, and no one seems to realize it).

Anyway, afraid this US team may end up looking discombobulated like the 2004 team in Greece.

Most male athletes who go to olympics try and 'free' their sperm!

Think the word you were looking for is 'freeze'

Official Roster:

Kevin Durant
Klay Thompson
Jimmy Butler
Carmelo Anthony
DeMarcus Cousins
DeAndre Jordan
Kyle Lowry
DeMar DeRozan
Draymond Green
Paul George

2 spots open, presumably for Kyrie and LeBron who have yet to accept.

I'm looking forward to the Olympic teams with Popovich at the healm.

Will be interesting to see how the ghosts of Athens will effect him, or if he'll rise above it and win more gold for U.S.
