"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons." - Kobe

Think about the fact that this final game was against Utah he did this.

The significance of him doing this to Utah in his final game just brings everything full circle :)

He hugged Lisa lol.

I'm sure they have a strong mutual respect after all these years. He was showing his appreciation for her professionaly.

That last pullup jumper by Kobe to put the Lakers up 97-96 will always get me emotional.

It's finally hitting me that Kobe not coming back. The way the crowd was last night you would think it was game 7 of the finals. Who knows when Staples Center will ever be that electric again. It's going to be a very long time. Long time.

What a game, we were going crazy last night. Felt good like old times, when he hit the go ahead and then added the two free throws for 60.... We were all going off!

Shaq asked kobe last week if he can score 50 but the man trolled and gave us 60

"He was so gassed yet everytime he had the ball he was scoring. It was like the whole arena was giving him energy spirit bomb style."

some one from facebook said that

I couldn't believe what I saw last night - not enough words to describe it all. The ceremony, game, press conference, etc is going to be on my dvr for a long time. A 37 year old Kobe dropping 60 points in his final NBA game... in a comeback victory!!!
I'm sure all you guys went through the same emotions I did watching the whole thing. Simply legendary. There were definitely manly tears being shed that night.

Last night feels surreal. I'm definitely going to have to re-watch the game this weekend.

Q: When you take off your jersey for the final time, what will you leave behind on the court?

Since the game has ended, I've rewatched the last 6 or so minutes of the 4th quarter at least 12 times now...

Seeing Kobe go out in the manner in which he did, gun's blazing, scoring 60, hitting the game winner essentially the same spot in which he did against the Suns in 06, and then the final embrace on the court where he grasped and hugged Clarkson, Randle, and Russell is a moment that will be engraved within my brain for the rest of my life.

It's been a very difficult year but to have Kobe exit on such a high high note truly does help overlook any heartache or frustration that has occurred in the previous 81 games.  Kobe left it all on the court, on his terms, with a W, in front of some of the most notable Hollywood figures, NBA Hall of Famers, previous teammates, and more importantly some of the greatest fans in the league.

Looking back... my only regret is not spending my life savings (poor college student) on a ticket to witness the finale.

Just unreal. Unreal man.

I didn't expect that from Kobe, considering how he started out. But thats classic Kobe, no matter how he starts out....he usually just becomes a killer in the 4th.

Kobe probably broke his threshold and caught his second wind. He will feel it tomorrow and probably won't sleep well tonight cause of the amount of adrenaline in his system. His last two shots his form looked like the 09 kobe never aged.

Super Saiyan Kobe?  I've believed for quite some time now that Kobe isn't 100% human...last night confirmed it.  LOL.

Just two days ago where I was laying down on my bed, daydreaming about Kobe getting 50 points in his final game. So happy it happened.
