Russell 15/2/6 in 34 mins
Clarkson 22/9/4 in 36 mins

Randle 22/12 in 32 mins

Kobe 22 and only played 27 minutes.

The only other thing Byron could have done that I'd have approved of was play Tarik Black.  But Bass did well.  Larry looks like he may take a few more practices till he finds his groove again.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Randle would be 3rd on that list if he played 34 min (which is roughly how long Drummond and DeAndre play).

He is 4th in Total Rebounds after this game.

Kind of crazy impressive. This guy could be someone who averaged 14 in his prime and people just want to throw him out like it's nothing lol.

The name "Randle" has grown so much on us that we are forgetting that this is essentially his rookie year. Need to put things into perspective a bit.

Nobody isn't denying that Randle is a monster on the board and has an incredible motor. What people are upset about is his tunnel vision. But that comes with having a great coach. If we get a legit coach he will nip that [expletive] in the bud quickly. Pop would've been jacked Randle up for attacking the rim with 3 people in it and your teammates are open.

Nah. I know people like being dramatic about it, but you can't teach all these things in a rookie season. They are not ready for such a drastic change in their playing style. Most of one and done players are similar. They don't have those fundamentals. After 2-3 seasons if he is still same, then yeah.

Tunnel vision is the last thing I'm worried about with Randle, among other things.

Is he durable? Is he talented? Does he give effort? Does he care about winning/losing?

He's making rookie mistakes. If he's making rookie mistakes 2 years from now, then we can talk about moving on from him.

the way the rooks play tonight was beyond words. kobe did his thang but was sub par in other parts

good lost i guess.

randle is doing just fine in my opinion, he's doing rookie mistakes as expect and has improved through out the year. trading him right now is a foolish idea. unless we get a top 3 player right now. then no.

Kobe is about as good as i expect a 38 year old SG to be.

I would happily trade Randle for a top 20 caliber player. we will draft a player with as much upside as randle

Clarkson + DLO should be the focus

Briefly fantasized about obtaining Pau, KD and Derozen and resigning Clarkson next season.

Not sure theres enough money, but wow that would be solid playoff team w good coach.

Anyone hear jon barry say the game reminded him of an all star game-no defense.

Good line.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Pau is so terrible on defense, that I'm not sure I want to take him on at this point in his career.

Like, he's really, really bad on that end. I don't think people understand how much Chicago's interior D suffers with him in the game against legitimate threats. Look at the recent performances from Toronto and Cleveland's big men, who aren't even top notch guys.

Only recently...

Towns 26/17
JVal 25/12
DJ 17/20
Jokic 16/12
Cousins 30/11
