Kobe scores 38 points at ~50% shooting while Russell/Clarkson/Randle each score at or above 15 points and at 50%+ shooting.

I'll take that.

sad part is we lose this game without an unlikely kobe performance after a 16 point lead

It definitely had a 1998 Kobe-Jordan duel vibe to it.

Completely agree.

Russell and Lou's minutes should be switched.  34 for Russell and 28 for Lou.  Also weird Brown got a DNP coach's decision.

That's what I was thinking during that 4th quarter. Wiggins is gonna be a beast,

Browns shooting has been awful. Misses way too many open shots.

Great duel between Kobe and Wiggins. I was very happy to see Kobe come out on top in their final matchup :)

Wiggins will remember that match forever, and Kobe showed why he's one of the greatest ever, taking the youngster and future of the league to school one more time :D

That's what I was thinking during that 4th quarter. Wiggins is gonna be a beast,

Wiggins really needs to start developing more of his game other than scoring though, he has the ability to grab 6-7rpg and average 1+ stl and 1+ blk. Still needs to improve his range, and be able to stay engaged all throughout games instead of small spurts.

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

Next games DNP's: Tarik, ...

This team has a player that normally does not play but when a wing is not playing, he is starting. Normally your back-up 2-3 replaces your starter (namely Kobe) and your 3rd string gets some burn as a back-up. But with A. Brown, it's 30 minutes starter or DNP. It is really really weird, i am curious if there is or ever was another example around the league. It's impossible to understand for me, maybe my lack of real experience in basketball does not allow me to see something that is very obvious.

Brown could've helped btw, he could have hold his ground way better than Clarkson did. I think being a 1st option last year did some harm on Clarkson. As an athletic youngster, i expect him to ignite from defense and hustle but it seems he is only effective if his shots are going down. Not that i am not happy with his progress, i really like his game. But him, and both of our 2 other future stars (hopefully) needs to figure it out on the dfensive end. I know it is too early for them, but at least the hustle and the energy must be there, every night. Julius is really improved on that area, he seems more focused lately and his hustle is there no matter how bad he plays on the offensive end.

And a win changes everything for us, for this forum :D

Been saying it for a while.  Coaches salaries are the one thing that hasn't been effected by the new CBA.  5-6 million is the going rate for good coaches in a non GM role.  There is absolutely nothing preventing us from throwing 9 million a year at Budenholzer for example.  Hey Bud we want you to coach the Lakers, whatever Atlanta offers you we'll beat it by 2 million annually.
