Haha Huertas knew he was gonna be blocked the whole time. He was looking to pass the whole time.

Black has 4/4 in 7 minutes, Kelly has 10/3

Who knew...

Maybe give these guys a shot over Bass and Metta next time around.

Why the [expletive] didn't Russell play? just for a childish sore throat? I can't believe it...

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Probably was strep throat or sickness, and you wouldn't want him playing with that anyway.

Anyone hear Ernie Johnson when they showed the graphic of the starting lineups?

Said something like "Coming up, the Lions vs Christians"

F'n hilarious.

Hurts because its true.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Finally i see Tarik Black playing............

I rather not see Ron or Bass play.

I want to see Kelly and black play more.

Hardly any guy is made out like Kobe (when he was young) burning to play no matter what he had. Doesn't surprise me. Especially this newer generation. Mostly baby mentalities in comparison overall. Disappointing, but factual.

yo.

Then why did he want to play so badly during summer league even though he was dealing with an injury? You don't know what kind of sickness he's suffering from. Just because the injury report says sore throat doesn't mean his sickness is minor and not a real threat to his health.

For the record, Russell's sore throat wasn't the problem. It was the sickness sapping his energy and making him sluggish, slow and unable to operate on the basketball court.

THAT is why he didn't play.   As he said today, "I can play through a sore throat."

It was the other part of the sickness.    To set that straight.

And for the record he still has the sore throat, his energy just isn't sapped now, and he's expected to play tomorrow, along with Kobe.
