Once again, the young guys almost bring us back from the brink.   Yet they aren't starting because Scott is an idiot.

Oh well.

Great effort by them, Russell showed that chip on his shoulder people have been asking for.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Getting sick of fans yelling for Kobe when it's russel who deserves the chants.

The positive is and will continue to be that Russell is a different player than when he started and he gets better constantly. Also the competitive fire he showed against cp3 was exactly what he needed to show tonight.

I think he's the guy moving forward and the job now is in getting some consistent running mates and a good coach

Randle needs more time. He needs to reign it in a bit. He has physical tools but he's just way too all over the place

Randle's game will come when his jumper does. He gives effort and is by far our best rebounder but offensively until he can hit the 15 footer he just will continue to struggle. Might take him another year to really get that down.

And one of the components behind that is not having a coach.

Though I will say he seems to have been working on his 3 point shot.  Which I'm fine with.  He shoots them with confidence instead of desperation.   I'd stress to say he rushes his 3 point shot less than he rushes his mid range shot.

Not really how I look at it. Having Kobe out there would have helped. Especially with Nick doing exactly jack [expletive].

well...start russell and clarkson, bring lou and huertas off bench...clarkson is not a pg and theres no reason he should be forced to continue to play it...and I see no reason to keep russell on bench either

huerts has his issues, but he played well with russell.

i do not like jc as the main ball handler.. he is a 2

when russell has no restrictions, he play a lot better (even if it was when the lakers were down by 20) he just plays loose minus the scott rules and restrictions

this is randles true rookie year, he will get better in time
